Instructional Content：Unit5 Inside advertising Writing an advertisement Book9 Instructional Objectives:

* Enable the students to learn about the form of an ad and are able to write an ad for a restaurant.

* Teach students to learn the writing ability. 3.Value aims:
* Enlarge the skills of students of learning the writing.
Analysis of Teaching Section：This unit mainly talks about different types of advertisements and their effects. This writing period is about persuasive writing—an advertisement. So this lesson plays an important role in this unit---how to use what Ss learnt in this unit to write an advertisement so as to persuade customers. Analysis of Studying Condition：The students in this grade have known some basic knowledge of advertisement, and they are active in mind. They are able to express simple ideas in simple English under the teacher’s guidance. And they are more interested in concrete images, so in the process of teaching, I will make full use of the pictures.

Learn to write an ad. for a restaurant. Difficult Points:
Learn how to use proper words and expressions to organize an ad. for a restaurant. Teaching Methods：

Step1:Today let’s write an advertisement of restaurant. So let’s see the advertisement we have already learned in our book. Show them two short ads adopted from the reading part from Book3. Ask students to read it.

Homework2: Find an interesting advertisement.
Purpose 1. Homework is so important. It is necessary for students to master the knowledge they
learned after class.
2. It is one way to evaluate whether the students achieve the teaching aims. Step 7
Reflection
Teacher will predict the good point and weakness point of this lesson. Good point : 1. The learning plan paper of the new lesson is useful to students to have a general idea of the lesson. They will be more interested in the new knowledge.
2. Teacher set many activities to ask students practice the knowledge connected with the reading passage.
3. Students play a very important role in this lesson. Teacher just an organizer of this class and help students to get the idea of the reading passage.
Weakness point:
1. Students are overwhelming for the knowledge from this lesson. The content of the new knowledge is 90%. So it may be a little difficult for students to digest it.
2. Base the huge tasks; teacher may push students to finish the tasks as fast as they can. And students will suffer a big anxiety.
Purpose of
design
1. The reflection part is helping teacher to record the shortcoming of this lesson. Teacher will correct it and pay more attention to this weakness in next lesson. 2. It is also a way for teachers to improve their teaching ability more effective and
perfect.
