教材 分析
本單元以“Can you come to my party?”為中心話題,圍繞“發出,接受,拒絕邀請”展開。學生能通過本單元的學習,掌握如何書寫邀請函及其答復。本單元內容與實際生活息息相關,對初二的學生比較適合,是學生感興趣的話題。
學情 分析 學生在七下學過由can引導的一般疑問句,并會對其進行肯定和否定回答。通過
本單元Section A的學習也掌握了一些接受和拒絕邀請的答語。通過2b,3a的學習,對書寫邀請函和答復有了初步的了解。八年級的孩子不像七年級的時候愛表達,
但這一話題在生活中會用到,因此激勵學生多說,使他們對英語有更深刻的感知。 教學 目標 1.學生能掌握書信和電子郵件的格式。
2.學生能仔細閱讀邀請函后根據內容進行相應答復,并能在拒絕邀請時給出合適的理由。表達自己的歉意和惋惜。
3.讓學生喜歡英語表達,將英語運用到生活,提高綜合運用語言的能力。

2.通過書面表達的形式,介紹如何對別人的邀請進行禮貌答復。

Step1 Lead- in
Watch a video, then answer the questions. 1.What is the festival? 2.When is it? 3.How to celebrate it?
Step2 Pre-writing: Pairwork
教師通過PPT展示一張邀請函并創設情境說自己要舉行一場
“Christmas party”,邀請幾位小明星到場。從而練習Can you come to my party?句型及接受和拒絕的答語。 Play a game.
Let’s speak out the phrases.(Practice the excuses) Summary
Talk about some ways how to accept and refuse an invitation,then show.(Read)
Step3. While-writing
Show three invitation letters of the Christmas party and ask a student to send them to each group,let students read the invitation carefully and teach them to write a reply according to the invitation which they received.(Teacher uses mind-map to show students the form of an e-mail and how to write.)

Step 4. Post-writing:
Each team choose a student to share with us,then give comments,and find some mistakes. If necessary,we can find some good sentences,and write them down. Ask students to correct them with their neighbors. Then hand in the paper.
Step5. Summary
Master the ways how to accept and refuse an invitation and how to write an e-mail.
Step6. Homework
Write an invitation to a party or any other event. Use the following words and phrases: would like to; will be; after this; please; reply
