一、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析
本課選自人教版教材“Go for it!”的八年級上冊的第9單元,單元標(biāo)題為“Can you come to my party? ”本單元圍繞話題—發(fā)出、接受和拒絕邀請,開展聽說讀寫等多種教學(xué)活動,是一個貼近生活,具有時代性和可挖掘性的教學(xué)主題。
本節(jié)寫作課屬于本單元最后一個課時的教學(xué),需要學(xué)生在充分地開展并掌握了本話題的聽說讀活動后,進行筆頭的輸出,是一個單元學(xué)習(xí)里比較高階的教學(xué)活動。本節(jié)課筆者將小標(biāo)題設(shè)定為“如何寫邀請函”,屬于應(yīng)用文范疇。若學(xué)生掌握得當(dāng),所學(xué)有可能會在日后的工作和生活中被用到。
二、 教學(xué)重點難點
1、 選取的教學(xué)單元比較靠后,學(xué)生才進入到第3單元的學(xué)習(xí),中間有幾個單元的跨度。
2、 學(xué)生能讀懂邀請函,但要寫出來,在篇章結(jié)構(gòu),遣詞造句,表達(dá)方式等方面均有困難。
三、 教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1、知識技能
1)選擇恰當(dāng)?shù)难埡问窖埐煌P(guān)系的人。
2)閱讀并探究邀請函所需包含的步驟或內(nèi)容。
3)邀請他人時的恰當(dāng)?shù)恼Z言表達(dá)方式。
4)能根據(jù)提綱,用得體的語言寫一封信息囊括較全面請函。
2、情感態(tài)度
接受他人的邀請,同享快樂和友誼,學(xué)會對他人提出邀請,繼續(xù)傳遞快樂和友誼。
3、學(xué)習(xí)策略
1)認(rèn)知策略:通過探討,總結(jié)出寫邀請函需要包括的內(nèi)容,并在寫作中加以應(yīng)用。
2)交際策略:通過討論,交叉批改作文,相互送邀請函等活動,提供互助式學(xué)習(xí)的渠道,在活動中提升學(xué)生用英語交際的能力。
四、 本課亮點
1、 現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)與課堂的融合
為最后寫作中的“Other Information”提供信息,筆者編撰了對話,請學(xué)生出演并拍攝,搜集學(xué)校以前藝術(shù)節(jié)活動的珍貴錄像片斷,最后利用軟件會聲會影剪輯和制作了一個長達(dá)2分45秒的視頻。視頻主題與課程契合,能勾起學(xué)生對藝術(shù)節(jié)的美好回憶和憧憬,鍛煉了聽力,拓寬了他們英語學(xué)習(xí)的渠道。觀看視頻時,學(xué)生的歡笑聲將本課推向了一個小高潮。
2、 本課的整體設(shè)計思路
本課的主題和文本內(nèi)容來自于教材,但形式和文本卻沒有拘泥于教材,而是跳出了教材。本課從自能預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè),讓學(xué)生寫出并說出他人對自己的口頭邀請開始,過渡到寫萬圣節(jié)化妝舞會的四種書面邀請函。為了引出寫邀請函的幾大步驟,筆者沒有生硬的給出,而是讓學(xué)生讀或聽這四種邀請方式,找出他們?nèi)笔У男畔⒒蚴遣蛔悖纱藖硪龑?dǎo)他們總結(jié)。總結(jié)后,通過提問讓學(xué)生明白面對不同的人,可以選擇不同的邀請方式。在正式開始寫作之前,筆者提供了提綱,里面有要看視頻獲取的信息,也有他們可以自己決定的方面。寫完并評價完后,筆者讓學(xué)生在班內(nèi)送出自己的邀請函,分享友誼和喜悅,比較自然地升華了本課主題。
3、 寫作后的評價方式
課后很多老師跟我提到,寫后的互評以及評價方式是本課的一大亮點,也部分解決了他們長久以來的疑惑。筆者提供的同伴間的8條評分細(xì)則,既包括寫邀請函的6個步驟,還包括整體語言和卷面書寫。方法清晰易懂,能幫學(xué)生迅速得知自己邀請函的長處和不足。
五、 本課的不足和遺憾
1、學(xué)生表現(xiàn)不夠出彩
因聽課教師眾多,擠滿了教室的各個角落和走道,學(xué)生難免過于緊張,舉手人數(shù)不多。而且在核對預(yù)習(xí)作業(yè)時,很多同學(xué)的答案都是單一的…through QQ,沒有達(dá)到預(yù)期的效果。
2、階段性小結(jié)不夠
在找出四類邀請函的問題后,應(yīng)在PPT上及時加上總結(jié)性的小型文本框,如The event, Time & Place等,加深學(xué)生印象。
3、The warm language部分的處理
有老師質(zhì)疑這種提法的準(zhǔn)確性和權(quán)威性。也提出,這個部分因情境鋪墊不夠,所以導(dǎo)致學(xué)生有些說不出來,而且還可以做適當(dāng)拓展。
六、 小結(jié)
通過第一、二、三、四、五版的修訂,磨出這堂課花費了筆者20多個日日夜夜。雖辛苦,卻能實實在在看到自己理念的更新,課程從形式到內(nèi)容的實質(zhì)性提升。課后,很多認(rèn)識和不認(rèn)識的老師都跑來跟我交流,為我點贊,岳麓區(qū)教研員于洪玲老師為我做獨門專家點評,從中我收獲了很多反思,深感自己付出還是很有回報的。希望自己通過長期堅持不懈的努力,能夠走在國內(nèi)教學(xué)改革的前沿。

I. Teaching aims
1. Knowledge and skills
Make students know and read 4 kinds of invitations (formal and informal); guide students to think and discuss about what are included in an invitation;
guide students to pay attention to the appropriate language of writing an invitation; guide students to write an outline and an invitation of the “class talent show”. 2. Emotional attitude
Guide students to choose the suitable kinds of invitations according to the relationship;
lead students to share happiness by accepting others’ invitation and pass on happiness by making invitations. 3. Learning strategy
Make students discuss and summarize the steps of writing an invitation and apply them in writing; teach students how to grade and make comment on partner’s invitation; enhance students’ communication skills by sending invitations to others.
