——Where did she go last weekend? ——She went to a farm. ——Who did she go with? ——She went with her classmates.

Read the conversation and the four questions. Step 6: Role-play
Ask students to read the conversation in pairs and then ask three pairs to present.
Step 7: Warming-up Watch a video.
Step 8: Presentation
Learn the basic sentence patterns of the simple past tense. Step 9: Grammar Focus
Read and try to remember the sentences in grammar foucus and ask several students to complete the sentences. Step 10: Practice Do some exercises. Step 11: Group work
Students work in groups of four and talk about what they did last weekend.
Step 12: Homework.
