第一課時 聽說課
一、教學目標: 1. 知識目標: 1) 重點詞匯和短語:
guitar, sing, swim, dance, chess, play chess, draw, speak, join, club 掌握并熟練運用下列重點句型:
① —Can you play the guitar? —Yes, I can. / No, I can't. ② —What can you do? —I can dance.
③ —What club do you want to join? —I want to join the chess club. 2) 能掌握語法:情態動詞can的用法 2. 能力目標:
1)提高學生聽說讀寫的能力
2)提高學生合作探究與相互交流的能力 3. 情感目標:
該部分內容貼近學生的生活,談論的話題是能力。通過互相詢問或談論自己或對方在某一方面的能力,可以培養學生的群體意識。 二、教學重點難點 1.教學重點:

Target languages: — Can you play the guitar? —Yes, I can./ No, I can't. —What club do you want to join? —I want to join the chess club. 2.教學難點:學生熟練運用重點句型進行問答,談論自己的喜好和能力。
三、教學流程 Step One Warm up
Show two short videos about drawing and playing basketball. Ask the students if they can do them. Introduce the unit we will learn today. T:First Let’s watch two videos .What are they doing ? Ss: They are playing basketball. T: Can he play basketball? Ss: Yes, he can.
T: Can you play basketball? Can you play the guitar? (導入新課) 【設計意圖】教師播放學生畫畫的打籃球的兩段視頻,詢問學生是否也會此類活動,引入本課同時提高學生學習的積極性,活躍課堂氣氛 Step Two Presentation
1. Show some pictures about different instruments. Ask the students to read after the teacher and correct their pronunciations. Remember the new words: guitar, violin, piano, drum T: What’s this in English? Can you spell it? Ss: It’s a guitar. G-U-I-T-A-R guitar. 2. Listen and choose which instrument it is.
T: Now let’s listen and choose the right pictures. What about this one?
Ss:Guitar.\ Violin\Drum\Piano
The students listen to the sound of different instruments and choose the right pictures. Spell the words one by one.
3. Go on to learn the other words according to the pictures and learn the expressions in this lesson: play the drum, play chess, play the piano, play the violin, sing, draw, speak English,
The students learn and read the words after the teacher, then read to
the partners and help each other to correct the pronunciation.
【設計意圖】 生動的圖片,留給學生更直觀的印象,進而更快的識記單詞,再形成教師領讀-學生拼讀-互相檢查幫助-教師檢查輔導的模式,容易激發學生的積極性,互幫互助。聽音分辯樂器,增加趣味性,鞏固所學單詞。
4. Pair work Show the pictures about the abilities. The students ask and answer in pairs to practice the first target sentences in turns. S1:Can you …… ? S2: Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
【設計意圖】學生將所學單詞和短語與本課詢問能力的重點句型結合,應用于實際生活,談論彼此的能力。
5. Introduce the clubs in our school by using the pictures: English club, music club, swimming club, chess club, art club. Ask the students what clubs they want to join. Then the students practice the conversation in pairs.
T: Please make the dialogues in pairs. One student asks and the other student answers by using the sentences above. Are you clear? (S1: What club do you want to join? S2:I want to join the … Because it’s …..)
6. Play a game. Play a game named “Who’s lucky?” One student chooses a number he likes. If he’s lucky, there will not be any contents. Instead there will be a conversation about the clubs.
【設計意圖】教師通過圖片介紹學校里的社團,整個環節學生處于教師所設置的環境中,圍繞本課的重點句型展開對話,操練了英語基本用語, 給學生開口說英語提供了機會。游戲環節極大的增加了學生學習英語的興趣,學生積極參加。 Step Three Listening practice
1. T: Match the pictures with the people in 1a.Write down the answers on the students’ papers. Then check the answers together.
2. Listening task 1in 1b. Listen and number the conversations. 3. Listening task 2 in 2a. Listen to these two conversations and circle the clubs you hear.
4. Listening task 3 in 2b. Listen again. Complete the sentences. The teacher explains the purpose of the listening practice ahead. 【設計意圖】學生在教師的要求下完成聽力任務,教材活動2a可以訓練學生聽力關鍵技能-記關鍵詞。活動2b可以訓練學生根據對話內容填寫關鍵詞,增強學生聽的技能。 Step Four Group work and report
The students make a conversation in groups. They ask each other by using the target languages “What club do you want to join? I want to join…. I can …..” and choose one student to report the results in their group.

A: Hi, Tony. What club do you want to join?
B: I want to join the music club, I can sing and dance. I think it’s interesting. How about you? A: I want to join the… club, I like ….
C: So you can join …. And I want to join …. I …. D: Ha ha , I can …, and I want to join …. 2. Make a repot.
In my group, I can /like ____, so I want to join _____.I think it’s ___________._______can/likes _____, so he/ she wants to join_______. And he/ she thinks it’s__________. ______ can/likes _____.... 【設計意圖】綜合探究活動,學生通過組內合作的對話練習及匯報活動,對所學知識進行鞏固, 學生思維得以開放,培養了學生在真實場景中運用英語的能力并提高了學生合作探究與相互交流的能力。
Step Five Summary and homework Summary
1. New words: play the guitar, play chess, sing, speak English, join, art club, music club, chess club 2. Talk about abilities: A: Can you play the guitar? B: Yes, I can. /No, I can’t. 3. Talk about joining clubs: A: What club do you want to join? B: I want to join the music club. Homework
Please write a letter to your best friend. You need to tell them what club you want to go and introduce yourselves.
【設計意圖】通過小結,使學生又重新回顧一遍本堂課的主要內容,可以更加準確的理解本節課的主要內容。學完這節課后學生通過互相詢問或談論自己或對方在某一方面的能力,可以培養學生的群體意識。
反思:本節聽說課為本單元的第一課時,教師充分把握課堂的節奏,緊張、活潑、高效。通過對子間的對話練習、小組合作探究匯報等方式層層遞進,對目標語言進行充分的訓練,有效地完成了預期設定的提高學生聽說讀寫的能力和學生合作探究與相互交流的能力的能力目標。學生掌握重點、突破難點,實現了語言輸入與輸出間的結合。 本節課教師采用對子間對話,小組合作探究,匯報表演等多種方式對學生實際應用英語的能力進行訓練,但在小組合作是時間過長,導致最后的習題鞏固沒有進行較多訓練,另外應注意平時培養學生認真傾聽的習慣,提高說和聽的能力。
