Unit 12 What did you do last weekend? The Second Period (Section A, 2d–3c)
教材分析:
本單元是本冊教材的最后一個單元,以復習為主,一方面復習之前學過的很多動詞短語,一方面通過以談論上周末的活動為話題,繼續鞏固學習一般過去時態的應用。
Section A 學習新短語。復習周六周日及早中晚的表達法。復習句型What did you do?How was ...?能夠正確使用一般過去時態談論自己的周末,并作出評價。復習what/who/where/how questions.
Teaching aims (教學目標)
1. 能在日常情境中熟練地使用一般過去時態進行交際。 2. 能用所學內容解決實際問題。
3. 學會使用一般過去時態中由who,what,where,how 進行的提問的特殊疑
問句。 Language points (語言點)
1. 詞匯:1)名詞n. butterfly, visitors, mouse, language, baby
2)形容詞adj. baby, natural
3)副詞 adv. away 4) 動詞v. shout
4) 短語 run away, shout at …
2. 句型:What did you do last weekend?
Who visited her grandma? Becky did. Where did she go last weekend?
Who did she go with?
She went with her classmates.
Difficulties (教學難點)
1. 動詞過去式的正確形式。
2. 特殊疑問詞的使用及回答。

Go through the simple past tense of regular and irregular verbs with Ss. Make sure that they understand how to use the words.

2. Work on 2d
(完成2d)
(1)Read 2d.and answer four questions.
Q1. How was Lisa’s weekend? Great.
Q2. Where did she go?
She went to the Natural History Museum. Q3. What did she do there? She worked as a guide there. Q4. What did Paul do last weekend? He stayed up late to watch the soccer game.
(2) Follow the example in 2d and make up a conversation. (3) Role-play the conversation in pairs.

(1) Have Ss read through the questions and answers.
(2) Ask Ss to focus on what, who, where.

(1) Fill in the blanks with who, what, when, where or how. (2) Check Ss’ answers.
(3) Ask students to act out the dialogues in 3a and work in pairs.
