[設計理念]
任務型語言教學（task-based language teaching）是中學英語新課標推薦和提倡的外語教學法。它倡導“learning by doing ,using by doing”的教育理念，強化了語言實踐的過程，充分體現(xiàn)了語言的交際本質(zhì)，是一種具有實踐意義的課堂教學方式。教師在英語課堂上運用學習任務組織教學，需要在實踐操作中對教材進行重新整合，并要根據(jù)學生的習得程度和接受能力來開展行之有效的任務和活動。同時利用多媒體和網(wǎng)絡技術(shù)，幫助解決教學難題。這樣，既能為學生創(chuàng)設真實可視的英語學習環(huán)境，也能激發(fā)學生積極參與的欲望，引起學生的共鳴和興趣。
[教材分析]
教學內(nèi)容為新目標八年級下冊第八單元Section B Reading. 學習內(nèi)容主要體現(xiàn)在以下三點：
1. To personalize the target language and prepare students for the subsequent reading activity.
2. To provide scanning and writing practice with the target language.
3. To provide students with the opportunity to communicate about something they know.
[學生分析]
1、 利用多媒體課件上英語課，學生試聽感受明顯，表現(xiàn)出極大興趣，在欣賞和享受中學習，學習效果明顯。
2、 學習內(nèi)容圍繞音樂話題，學生興趣濃厚，易于產(chǎn)生共鳴。
[教學目標]
By the end of the class, students will learn ---how to make notes
---how to find the main idea ---how to make a short report
[教學重難點]
1. 抓住要點復述原文。
2. 使用目標語言進行語言輸出。

[教學步驟]
Step 1. Lead-in
T: Do you like music？ S: Yes.
T: Do you have a favorite singer ? What do you know about him or her ? S: ( Free answers.)
T: Do you have a favorite song ? Can you sing it for us ?
設計目的：
以學生感興趣的話題導入， 激發(fā)學生學習興趣。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Show a video of an English song . Introduce the background of country music. 2. Show two pictures to present new words. success, belong to, record, belong to, abroad

設計目的：
處理部分重點詞及難讀單詞，為下面閱讀教學掃清障礙。
Step 3 While-reading
1. Skimming
Find the main idea of the passage. 2. Scanning
Task 1. Read Para 1. Choose T or F.
Task 2. Read Para 2. Fill in the mind map. Task 3. Read Para 3. Find the true sentence.
3. Summarizing
Retell the story.
設計目的：
1. 通過設置不同的閱讀任務，訓練學生整體閱讀和細節(jié)閱讀能力。 2. 復述環(huán)節(jié)促進學生掌握目標語言。
Step 4 Post-reading
1. Show a short video.
2. Ask students to prepare a talk show. 3. Act.
設計目的:
以四人小組活動的形式，練習一個Talk show 形式的話題活動，運用目標語言進行語言輸出。
Step 5 Further reading
Task 1. Give students a new passage. Find the key sentence of each paragraph. Task 2. Write an ending for this passage.
設計目的：
1. 鞏固訓練學生尋找關鍵信息的能力。 2. 訓練寫的能力。
.Step 6 Saying
Show students two sayings about music by Nietzsche and Einstein.
設計目的：
利用名人論述音樂的警句對學生進行文化品格培養(yǎng)。
Step 7 Homework
Write a passage about your favorite kind of music, songs or books.
設計目的：
以寫作練習對本科目標語言進行鞏固。
