Earthquake教學設計
設計總理念：
目前，我國高中英語課程改革逐步從“知識本位”轉變為培養學生英語學科“核心素養”。因此，傳統的填鴨式教學方式，以及教師在閱讀教學中過分強調語言的實用性，已經不能滿足提高學生核心素養的要求，需要老師和學生在課堂中加以配合改進。本文以人教版高中英語模塊一第四單元earthquake為例，探討通過對閱讀文本的深度閱讀，提高學生英語學科核心素養。本節課以課文為載體，幫助學生掌握語言知識，再通過感知，獲取，分析，概括，理解，猜測，欣賞，創新等活動，培養學生的語言能力，思維品質，文化意識和學習能力，以提高學生的英語學科核心素養。 教材分析：
本課是根據人教版高中新課標高一英語必修1 Unit4 Earthquakes閱讀部分“A Night the Earth Didn’t Sleep”而設計的一節課，課文主要講述了1976年7月28日凌晨發生在河北省東北部唐山市的大地震,通過對震前征兆、地震發生和震后救援的具體描述，向我們再現了唐山大地震這場二十世紀人類遭受的最慘重的自然災害。通過學習，學生能夠了解更多關于地震的常識，面對突然來臨的自然災難，能夠從容鎮定，積極勇敢地面對并加強自我保護能力。 學情分析：
高中一年級的學生已經在初中階段的英語學中,已經積累了一定的詞匯基礎,并掌握了一些簡單的學習策略和技巧,具有初步的英語聽說讀寫能力。但是，學生個性和英語水平差異大，因此教學設計要有梯度，由淺入深，注意層次性。 教學目標：
新時期高中英語課程目標將由綜合語言運用能力轉變為培養英語學科核心素養。為此根據課程目標新要求和學生已有的知識基礎和認知能力，在仔細學習和分析教材的基礎上，我確定了以下教學目標。 語言知識與能力：
能運用所學語言知識描述地震前兆、危害及震后援救. 思維品質與能力：
1.通過速讀和細讀，提升學生的閱讀能力。
2.在速讀和細讀中，運用加工，分類，猜測信息等方式培養學生的 思維品質。
文化意識與學習能力：
1.欣賞與運用英語修辭手法，了解中西語言相同之處。 2.討論與分享，運用所學提升學生的學習能力。 教學重點與難點： 重點：
1.培養學生在深度閱讀過程中獲取和處理信息的能力。 2.通過文本深度閱讀，提升學生的英語學科素養。 難點：
1.學生利用所學知識談論地震相關話題。
2.如何通過文本深度閱讀，提升學生的英語學科素養。 教學過程：

Q1 What is the passage mainly about ? Q2 In what order was the passage written ? Q3 How will you divide the passage ?
Purpose : know the main idea and structure of the passage Careful reading
Part 1 Reading for classify the signs
Purpose : find and process information to develop students thinking capacity
Part2 Understanding the writer
What way did the writer use to tell us the damage of the earthquake ? What does “bricks covered the ground like the autumn leaves” imply ? Purpose : find and generalize information and understand the expression way the author used. Part 3
Q : Did tang shan people lose hope after earthquake ( find supporting information ) ?
Step 3 Appreciation of good language
Purpose :Understandsimilaritiesof Chinese and Western cultures--figure of speech, and enable students to make use of them in their composition. Step 4 Discussion and sharing
Three topics related to the passage for students to discuss and share. Purpose :
Develop students’cooperation spirit and the spirit of mutual aid. Sum up what they have learned and put them to use to develop their language ability and learning capacity Step 5Homework
Write a letter to tell people how to protect yourself in the earthquake . Purpose :
To supplement the contents of the passage and topics of discussion,help students to know some skills to protect themselves
in the earthquake
