![]() ⑴什么是地震? 由于地球在不斷運動和變化,逐漸積累了巨大的能量,在地殼某些脆弱地帶,造成巖層突然發生破裂,或者引發原有斷層的錯動,這就是地震。 ⑵什么是震級? 震級是指地震的大小;是以地震儀測定的每次地震活動釋放的能量多少來確定的。中國目前使用的震級標準,是國際上通用的里氏分級表,共分9個等級,在實際測量中,震級則是根據地震儀對地震波所作的記錄計算出來的。地震愈大,震級的數字也愈大,震級每差一級,通過地震被釋放的能量約差32倍。震級大的地震,釋放的能量多;震級小的地震,釋放的能量少。 ⑶什么是地震前兆? 地震前兆指地震發生前出現的異常現象,巖體在地應力作用下,在應力應變逐漸積累、加強的過程中,會引起震源及附近物質發生如地震活動、地表的明顯變化以及地磁、地電、重力等地球物理異常,地下水位、水化學、動物的異常行為等。人的感官能直接覺察到的地震異常現象稱為地震的宏觀異常。地震宏觀異常的表現形式多樣且復雜,異常的種類多達幾百種,異常的現象多達幾千種,大體可分為:地下水異常、生物異常、地聲異常、地光異常、地震云、氣象異常等。
