【教材分析】
Module 8的主要內(nèi)容為運用賓語從句和定語從句來描述畢業(yè)生晚會上的對話和寫作畢業(yè)晚會上的發(fā)言。從全書來看,本模塊是對以前賓語從句和定語從句的總結(jié)和運用,著重引導(dǎo)詞的使用,讓同學(xué)們通過課堂學(xué)習(xí)活動來掌握其用法。

【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】
All will be able to remember new words and understand information about the speech.
Most will be able to identify(識別)the Object Clauses and the Attributive Clauses. Some will be able to write a speech to extend (擴(kuò)大、延伸)thanks to other people. 【教學(xué)重難點】

Step 2 Consolidate new words and expressions
The teachers shows the new words and expressions of this lesson. rose n. 玫瑰 kindness n. 善舉;好意 disappointed adj. 失望的 bedside n. 床邊 note n. 便條 whom pron. …….的人,那個人,那些人 laugh at 嘲笑 give up 放棄 Tasks: 1.Read follow the teacher.
2.Read together. 3.Reading competition. 4.Match.
Step 3 Pre-reading
Watch the flash and try to answer the questions. 1.How many roses does the speaker have?
2. Who will probably get thanks from the school-leavers? 3.Which three things has the speaker learnt? Step 4 Play a game(Group work)
Put the words in the right order to make sentences.

Skimming(Task 1): Look through the speech quickly to check the answers to the questions. (Pair Work)
Scanning(Task 2): Read through the speech to find out useful expressions. (Group Work)
Summarising(Task 3): Sum up the structure (結(jié)構(gòu))of the speech. (Team Work) Task 1:Check (√) the answers to the questions.There may be more than one answer. 1. Trickier:Write two groups of people that you want to thank, including at least one Object Clause and one Attributive Clause.
Trickiest:Write all the people that you want to thank, including many different kinds of Complex Sentences(復(fù)合句). Step 7 Plenary

1. All should remember new words and expressions on page 66.
