2教學目標
一、通過學習,能正確理解和掌握出本課課標詞及重點短語:
expression, discover, secret, grammar, fall in love with,look up,as well等。
二、能熟練說出本話題的功能句:
1. I fell in love with this exciting and funny movie!
2. I also realized I could get the meaning by listening for just the key words.
4. I discovered that listening to something interesting is the secret to language learning.
5. But because I wanted to understand the story, I looked them up in a dictionary.
三、運用閱讀技能Skimming快速理解文章大意和運用Scanning快速尋找文章細節信息。
四、結合文本的學習,總結學習心得,反思自己的英語學習方法,調整學習的心態,快樂學習。
3學情分析
該班級為九年級2班,是本人新接手的一個班。學生基礎比較薄弱,去年期末考試全班平均分不到60(滿分120分),優秀率為2.5%,及格率為37.5%,學生課堂紀律較好,但學習動力不足,也缺乏方法指導。為了提高學生的課堂積極性,課堂上初步嘗試開展了小組捆綁式評價,課堂效果明顯得到了改善。分為6個小組,每兩個小組為一個大組,每天課堂累計積分,每周進行統計公布,每月進行匯總表彰。
4重點難點
1、重點知識:重點短語;
重點技能:Skimming and Scanning。
2、難點:復述課文,人稱轉換。
5教學過程
5.1第一學時
5.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Leading in
1 Students revise how to read in 2d
2 Students think about how to read quickly to get the main idea.
活動2【講授】Pre-teach vocabulary
1 Students guess the new words according to the situation and the pictures
2 Students watch a part of the movie called Toy story which is mentioned in the text.
活動3【活動】Gistreading task
1. Students skim for the main idea by reading the title and talking about the picture.
2. Students get the topic sentences of each paragraph by reading the first sentence or the first line of each paragraph and fill in the attitude table.
活動4【導入】
1. Students read and listen to Paragraph One and answer to the question 1and 2 in 3a.
2. Students read Paragraph Two to find the answer to the question 3 in 3a by finding the key word “secret” and guessing the meaning of the new word “discover” and putting the sentence into Chinese.
3. Students read Paragraph Two and scanning for the missing words in 2b, they underline the answer in the text and check the answers by presenting the answers in front and the Micro Class.
4. Students guess the meaning of two useful sentences in multiple choices.
5. Students read Paragraph 3 together and do True of False exercise.
活動5【練習】Post-reading task
1. Students write down or underline the phrases in pairs and have a group competition.
2. Students work in groups and retell the text with the help of the timeline and key words.
3. Group present their groupwork in class and other students give comments.
4. Students think about what they can learn from the text and fill in the blanks together.
5. Teacher makes a conclusion.
