Grammar: Revision: adjectives and adverbs (comparative and superlative forms)
Teaching steps
Step 1 Warm-up Sing a song. Step 2 Revision
1. Free talk.
Compare two pictures and ask some students to describe them by using comparative
form of adj.
2. Work out the rules to review.
3. Pay attention to the changes of the forms of adj. and adv. Step 3 Practice and review
1.Summing up the rules by asking students to make sentences. 2.Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in brackets. Step 4 Oral Competition
Divide students into two groups and ask them to describe two pictures by using the words in the box. Give them some time think about it and then let them make sentences as many as possible. Step 5 Grammar Competition
Lead the students to do some exercise to challenge themselves. Step 6 Listening Competition 1. Listen and complete he table.

Teaching reflection
In this class , I felt a little nervous at the very beginning ,because I worried about the time , so we didn’t have a good warm-up . But students do a good job in doing several competitions . I think we are worth to review the rules by making sentences, although little Steven spent a lot of time make “James is the tallest of the three.” I think this is an natural class.
