一、教材分析
本模塊話題是英語語言，所選擇的討論角度正如標題所示，是“你和我的英語”，也就是“我們大家的英語”。本模塊也談英語的歷史，也談英語的發展與變化，但視角落在了可以說是英語最突出的特點上，即它的國際性和普遍性上。與此同時，在談到英語如何發展成為具有國際性的語言的時候，我們自然就會想到漢語的發展和漢語的未來。
本節課是這個模塊中的第二個單元，是一節閱讀課。雖然是一篇議論文，但是作者用問句作為標題，可以引發讀者的興趣，這樣有利于學生對文章的理解。
二、學情分析
本課授課對象是九年級學生，經過兩年多的英語學習，對英語語言學習有自己的看法。本模塊的話題與學生的生活聯系緊密，能夠有效地提高學生的學習興趣。
三、教學目標
1. 語言知識目標
（1）功能：能夠發表自己對英語學習的看法
（2）詞匯：boss, secretary, quarter, industry, zero, Indian, type （3）語法：復習狀語從句和動詞不定式的用法
2. 語言技能與學習策略目標
（1）能夠讀懂包含狀語從句的表達，理解文章中的細節信息并能轉述信息。 （2）能夠讀懂有關英語發展的說明，并能轉述主要信息。 （3）能夠參考課文的結構寫一篇文章介紹漢語的發展，寫作中要盡可能多地使用狀語從句。
3．學習策略目標
通過小組合作的方式，學會合作。
4. 情感態度與文化意識目標
能夠理解英語的重要，同時又要看到漢語日漸增強的影響力，培養對漢語的熱愛，增強民族自豪感。 四、教學流程

中規范自己的語音語調，再次鞏固英國傳統的介紹方式，而且能帶有自主性地去思考問題，不同層次的學生可以選擇不同難度的作業，這會更有利于激發學生學習英語的興趣，拓展學生的思維。
五、教學反思
1. 將現代教育技術---多媒體技術同英語課堂教學整合，激發了學生的學習興趣，提高了教學的時效性。
2. 這節閱讀課按照“讀前”、“讀中”和“讀后”的順序來設計，教師提出的問題也與中考閱讀理解想結合。在“讀后”的部分，除了安排了復述課文的活動之外，還加入了微寫作，現實了“以讀促寫”。
