1.Students say the words about vegetables/ animals/ fruit correctly.
2.Students can operate the SMART board and focusky app correctly,finish different tasks, practice the sentences: 
What are these? These are ______. What are those? Those are _______.
3.Students can share their report in group work and cherish the harvest moment.
2新設計
1. Make a new chant about the lesson.
Cat cat meow
cow cow moo.
Duck quack quack
hen cluck cluck
Dog wolf horse neigh
I love animals on my farm.
2. Have students re-create the chant.
Carrots are red.
Beans are green.
These are potatoes.
Those are tomatoes.
Try to eat some cucumbers.
I love vegetables on my farm.
3. Provide a whole scene about farm. That is : Guessing game about farm---Think of farm---Introduce a farmer Cherry and her farm---Know more about farm---Hlep Cherry and be a farmer---Harvest time
3學情分析
Students in Grade 4 are easily to take part in the English learning, they have basic knowledge about English and interests, so they are eager to share their ideas and feelings. In this lesson, students will be a farmer and finish their Feeding report or Planting Report. They love animals and cute things, so they have the foundations to learn this lesson.
4重點難點
1.Distinguish the difference between these and those, they can use correctly.
2.How to finish tasks in groups. 
3. Why should we cherish the moment when harvest.

5.1第一學時
5.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Step 1 Warm up
Teacher and students have a free talk.
Have a guessing game with students
.If they are right, they can get stickers about animals/ vegetables/ fruit on the farm. 
1. It has no legs. It can swim in the water. (fish) 
2. It is red like a face. ( apple) 
3. It has red eyes and long ears. (rabbit) 
4. It can climb trees. It likes to eat bananas. (monkey) 
Teacher lists the first word on the PPT, and asks:What word can you find ? ——farm. 
Teacher shows the title——Unit 4 At the farm T: What can you think of “farm”? 
 Students give their ideas.(potatoes, carrots, cows...) 
Divide students into 4 groups with animals/ vegetables/ fruit on the farm.
活動2【講授】Step 2 Presentation
Teacher introduces a new friend----.Play the video about her. 
Teacher asks basic questions like, 
1.What’s her name? 
2.How old is she?
Students listen and answer. Then they say hello to her. 
T:Let’s go to the farm, OK? Ss: OK! Let’s go! Play focusky and show a big farm. 
T: What’s in her farm? A: Vegetables and animals B: Fruit and animals
Students  listen to the video and finish the task. 答案:A 
Play the video twice, and answer: What are they?
Listen and circle:
Vegetables: carrots cabbages potatoes cucumbers corn beans 
Animals: cows sheep hens cats dogs ducks horses 
Play the smart and show a farm, have students put the vegetables into a good place.
Practice the sentences: What are these? These are ______. What are those? Those are ______. 
Teacher asks students: what can you see on her farm? Can you see some other animals?Let’s ask her.
Play a video about her farm animals.have students guess the animals. 
T: Yes, of course. I will sing my farm song for you. Listen what they are.

Students listen and tell us the animals name. Then they share it on the smart to a suitable place.
活動3【練習】Step 3 Practice
Listen to the tape and finish the exercises.
Practice the sentences:
Are they...?
Yes, they are.
No, they aren’t.They are _____.
Play a video about her. Students choose their favorite animals or vegetables and make it, they put them on, listen and sing along with teacher’s friend. They can also do some actions.
Lyrics: Carrots are red.
Beans are green.
These are potatoes.
Those are tomatoes.
Try to eat some cucumbers.
I love vegetables on my farm.
Cat cat meow
cow cow moo.
Duck quack quack
hen cluck cluck
Dog wolf , horse neigh
I love animals on my farm.

Teacher encourages students to join in the job hunting. They can finish the report.
Teacher asks one group to operate the SMART board.

活動4【測試】Step 4 Consolidation
Students share their Feeding/Planting  Report with us.
T: Well done! A harvest time! Now your boss is coming!
Teacher invites the farmer boss come into the classroom and share the vegetables and food with the farmers.
Thanks for the boss and the farmers.
活動5【作業】Step 5 Homework
1. Draw your favorite farm.
2. Make a feeding/Planting report.
