Storytime 教學設計
一、教學目標
《英語課程標準》中曾指出,語言知識呈現(xiàn)和學習都應從語言使用的角度出發(fā),為提升學生“用英語做事情”的能力服務;教師要通過創(chuàng)設接近實際生活的各種語境,去培養(yǎng)學生的綜合語言運用能力。
本單元的學習主題是My schoolbag,重點學習與書本、文具用品有關的詞匯和句型。本節(jié)課PartC是對本單元已掌握內容的一個鞏固和延伸,屬于語言運用課。基于以上認識,以及對教學內容的分析,結合學校四年級學生的學情,我從知識、技能、情感態(tài)度等方面擬定了以下教學目標:
1. 知識目標:能夠在情境中運用重點單詞、運用重點句子;同時,利用上下文、圖畫、動作及已有知識經驗等正確理解圖片的意義,能夠基本正確地跟讀、指讀、朗讀故事;
2. 能力目標:能在活動中相互合作,大膽表現(xiàn)自己;能運用所學知識在情景中進行熟練的交際,并在此基礎上能將其運用于日常生活中。
3. 情感目標:熟悉書包里的各項用品,培養(yǎng)學生學會整理好書包的能力。 二、學情分析
本節(jié)課的教學內容是四年級上冊Unit2 My schoolbag , Part C story time,通過前面課程的學習,孩子們已掌握了一定的知識點。因此,本節(jié)課我將采用圖片環(huán)游的方式進行教學,以story time的故事為藍本,在理解文本故事內容的基礎上,引入學校的第三屆勞動技能比賽即將來臨,學會整理自己的書包就是我們的比賽項目之一,引導學生學會整理好自己的書包等小事,做自己力所能及的事,成為父母的好幫手。 三、教學重難點
1、教學重點:目標單詞和句子的使用,正確把握故事的基本內容。
2、教學難點:結合文本故事,靈活運用目標單詞和句子,并學會在生活中使用;學習掌握新短語Put away, take out,等。 四、教學過程
為了實現(xiàn)教學目標,圍繞重難點,我設計了如下的教學流程:
Step1.Warm up
1. Greet with each other:以簡單對話讓學生調整狀態(tài),進入到英語學習中。 2. Let’s chant and sing.
以chant , song,調動孩子情緒,活躍課堂氛圍;并在其中復習一些重點詞匯句子,如put, my bag is heavy等,為后面故事學習做鋪墊。
T: Wow, you did a very good job. Now let’s come to our lesson. And remember, you are group1 and you are group2. ( PPT 顯示規(guī)則和要求)
Step2. Presentation
1. Cover talk and lead in the story My heavy schoolbag
1) Show the pictures of the story and arose the students’ interest of reading. 2) Let the students predict things in this schoolbag.
T: Look at the picture , this is a book. Can you read this title? Ss: My heavy schoolbag
T: Yeah, this is Zoom’s schoolbag, can you guess what’s in it?
Wow, so many things in the schoolbag. It’s so heavy. And let’s check what are the things. 設計意圖:根據(jù)封面和題目讓學生預測文本故事內容,同時,通過頭腦風暴讓學生復習回顧書包里的事物。
2. Picture walk of the story.
Picture1,2,3: Zoom packs the schoolbag and goes to bed.
First, show the picture1,2,3 and let the students predict the meaning of “ put away” Second, listen to the tape and learn the pictures one by one.
1) put away: show a video to guide the students understand the meaning, and then do the actions .
2) Sweet dreams: show a picture to guide the students understand the meaning, and then express the wish “ I hope you can have sweet dreams tonight”. 3) All right: show “OK”gesture to the students.
設計意圖:讓學生根據(jù)所示圖片,猜測領會詞組的意思,有利于培養(yǎng)學生閱讀理解能力。同時,以做動作和看視頻等直觀且生動的方式幫助學生更好的理解和記憶單詞。 Picture4,5 : Zoom has breakfast and goes to school. First, explain the meaning of “full” and do the actions.
Second, ask the students to imitate the tone and pronunciation of the sentence” Oh, my schoolbag is so heavy”. Picture6: Have a class
First, emphasize the reason of the schoolbag is so heavy.
T: ( a sound of a cat ) Wow , a cat is is in the schoolbag! It’s so heavy. Second, teach the phrase “take out ”
3. Read the story aloud.
Activity 1. Read the whole story after the audio. Point to the sentences with fingers while reading.
Activity 2. Act the story out in groups. Each group act one scene.
4. Extended activities: Describe your own schoolbag with the sentences structures. First. fill in the blanks .
Oh, no . My schoolbag is heavy. There is a , , and in it. Second, describe your schoolbag.
Step3. Promotion and Summary
Present a video of the “ The Third Labor Competition” and have a promotion : As a student, you should pack things well, be clean and helpful.
設計意圖:情感教育,作為一名小學生,我們應該學習整理好各種物品,愛干凈整潔。 做好自己的事,成為父母的好幫手!
Step4. Homework
1. Read the dialogue to your parents .
2. Practice packing schoolbags to meet the competition .
