過去分詞作狀語在寫作中的運用
【教學內(nèi)容分析】
1.教學內(nèi)容在教材中的地位:過去分詞是高考語法填空和改錯題的必考點,同時也是寫作中的常用技巧。
2.教材的編寫思路:通過過去分詞填空和文段比較導入主題,突出過去分詞在寫作中的重要作用;然后結(jié)合圖片和相關句子向?qū)W生展示過去分詞在句子中可充當定語、表語、狀語和賓語補足語等成分;接著用三個步驟引導學生使用過去分詞寫作;最后讓學生通過小組討論合作在練習中鞏固所學知識。 3.教材處理:在教學過程中,充分發(fā)揮圖片等教學材料的作用,激發(fā)學生的想象力和創(chuàng)造力,創(chuàng)設語言情景,讓學生學會在真實語境中學會使用過去分詞進行寫作。
【教學對象分析】
1.學生的興趣:本課中包含了許多與學生生活息息相關的話題,學生較感興趣。 2.學生的知識基礎:對過去分詞在句子中充當?shù)母鞣N成分已經(jīng)有了一定的認識。
3.學生的認識特點:對過去分詞僅僅停留在表層的、模糊的認識上,不擅于把它運用到寫作中從而增強句子的多樣性。

2.過程與方法:通過集體和個別提問復習強化過去分詞在句子中的成分和作用,并通過小組合作討論的形式,在練習中鞏固過去分詞在寫作中的運用。
3.情感態(tài)度與價值觀:提高對美文的鑒賞能力,增強寫作信心和在真實情景中運用過去分詞的意識

【教學過程】
Step 1. Lead in
Play a guessing game with the students, using the participles as adverbial in English instructions. First let the students guess what we are talking about, and then pick out the following sentences from the in English instructions in order to introduce the structures to them. 1.Seen from the top, the National Stadium looks like a bird nest. 2.Given another chance by God, I will say “I love you” to the girl.
3.Chosen to act as one of the four judges on it, Na ying is more famous than ever before. 4.Beaten by the sheep, again Mr. Wolf went to the village where the sheep lived.
Step 2. Presentation
1.Ask the students to observe the following sentences and turn the participles as adverbial into adverbial clauses.
(1.)Seen from space, the earth looks like a big blue ball. (2.)Moved by the film, he started crying. (3.)Heated, water changes into steam. (4.)Defeated again, he didn’t lose heart.
(5.) The professor went into the courtyard, followed by his wife.
2.Ask the students to memorize the sentences in 2 minutes and repeat them one by one with the help of some related pictures.
3.Get the rule by filling the blanks in the following sentences.
(1.) 除了做定語、表語和賓補,過去分詞還可以作______,修飾_________(謂語動詞/賓語),表示動作發(fā)生的_____、____、____、 ____、_________等。
(2.)過去分詞做狀語,從句的邏輯主語與主句的_____一致,表示______ (主動/被動)含義。 有些過去分詞(短語)源于系表結(jié)構(gòu),作狀語時不表動作而表狀態(tài)。 Step 3. Practice
Ask the students to set down some typical sentences by imitating the examples in each paragraph.
A:例句:Beaten black and blue, the lady couldn’t move. 模仿:
1)從教室的窗戶看出去,我們的學校很美麗。 ___________________________________
2)被問及名字的時候,男孩保持沉默。 ___________________________________
B:例句:When heated, the ice changed into water. 模仿:
1)Although ____in the leg, he went on firing at the enemy. 雖然被射中了腿部,他仍然向敵人開火。
2)如果被鎖在燃燒的建筑物中,你一定要呼救。 ______________________________________ C:.例句:

Encourage the students to do more exercises by combining some simple sentences to make complicated ones.

Step 5. Writing
A:Preparations for writing.
Let the students translate the following sentences into English by using the participles as adverbial.
1.老師走進教室,身后跟著學生。
2.這扇門鎖上3個小時之后,終于被打開了。 3.如果多澆點水,這花會更加鮮艷(fresh)。 4.被老師的話鼓勵,孩子們決定好好學習。 5.窗子碎了,這個教室看起來很可怕。
B: The students are asked to complete a short passage according to the following statements and try to use he participles as adverbial as much as possible.
一天,天氣很好。我走著上學去。到學校時,我發(fā)現(xiàn)我的同學們正站在教室外面,面色憂郁。我想知道為什么。窗子壞了,那個教室看起來很可怕。沒有人能進入教室。被鎖上3個小時之后,教室的門終于被打開了。老師走進教室,學生跟在后面。教室里有一盆漂亮的花。如果人們給這盆花多澆點水的話,她會更鮮艷。“沒什么大不了的,班長把鑰匙丟了。某人不小心打碎了玻璃。抓緊每一分鐘去學習,你們會成功的!”老師說。被老師的話所鼓勵,我們決定努力學習。 One possible version:
One day, it was sunny. I went to school on foot .When I arrived, I found some of my classmates standing out of the classroom with worried faces. I wondered why. With windows broken, the classroom looked terrible .No one can tell me anything, and no one can enter the room. Having been locked for 3 hours, the door was opened at last .The teacher came into the classroom, followed by the students.There is a pot of flower in the classroom , which is very beautiful. If given more water, the flower may seem fresher. “Nothing serious. Our monitor lost the key and someone broke the window. Seize every minute to study, and you will be successful!” said the teacher. Encouraged by the teacher’s words, we decided to work hard!
