課題: (Unit4 We love animals) C Story time 課型:故事課 教材分析:
本部分通過講述Zoom和他的朋友們之間發生的一個小事故,重現了本單元教學詞匯和部分句型,兩個新詞follow和carrot的加入, 目的是通過一個較為有意義的語篇,激發學生學習英語的興趣,增加學生語言的輸入以及訓練學生逐步適應文本閱讀。更重要的是為能力較強的學生提供語言拓展內容,以達到分層次教學的目的。 學情分析:
通過近三年的英語學習,同學們能有簡單的知識積累,能聽懂老師的英語指令,能進行簡單的英語交流。重要的是表演欲望很強,這就為學習英語創造了積極的英語環境。 設計思路:
本課教學設計盡可能地體現《英語課程標準》的教學理念,面向全體學生,突出學生主體,采用活動途徑,恰當地運用電教手段,創設情境,激發和培養學生學習英語的興趣,使學生樹立自信心,讓學生產生說英語的欲望。通過續編故事的環節,發散學生思維,促進學生思維品質的形成與發展。
教學目標 :
By the end of this period, students will be able to, 1. Knowledge objectives(知識目標):
1). Review all the animal words appeared in the story. (復習故事中出現的動物類詞匯) 2) . Understand the story. (能夠理解故事大意)
3) . Use the sentence pattern “Follow me!” in daily life. (能夠在日常生活中恰當運用 “Follow me!” ) 2. Ability objectives(能力目標): 1). Answer all the question raised by teacher. (能夠回答老師提出的問題)
2) . Read the story and act it out with partner. (能夠熟讀故事并和同伴一起表演) 3) . Make up an ending for the story. (能夠給故事續編一個恰當的結尾) 3. (情感態度目標)Moral objectives:
1)Be nice to our friends. (能夠友善的對待我們的朋友) 2)Friends are the best gift we give to ourselves. (好朋友就是最好的禮物)
教學重點: Let students:
1) Understand the story. (能夠理解故事大意)
2) Use the sentence pattern “Follow me!” and “I have a ... .” in daily life. (能夠在日常生活中恰當運用 “Follow me!” 和 “I have a ... .”) 3) Act the story out with their partner. (能夠和小伙伴一起表演故事) 教學難點:
After learning the whole story Ss can make up a proper ending to the story. (給故事續編一個恰當的結尾) 教學方法:
Task-based approach, situational teaching approach, Audio-lingual method, Communicative Approach. 教學準備:
教師:English book, flash cards, a real carrot, PPT, animal masks. 學生:English textbook 教學過程:
Step 1: Greeting and warm-up. 1) Greet to the whole class.
2) Sing the song Follow me and do the actions. (師生問好、歌曲Follow me熱身)【設計意圖:歌曲Follow Me緊扣故事中心句型,通過不同的動作讓學生感知follow me的含義! Step 2: Presentation.
(This lesson we will read a story happened among Zoom, Zip and their friends)
1) Play the video of the story and raise a question: What animals can you see in this story? (dog, pig, duck, rabbit) (播放課文動畫視頻并提簡單問題)
2) Read, spell and practice the 4 words in different ways. (朗讀、拼讀4個動物單詞)
【設計意圖:看視頻了解故事內容,對故事人物進行列舉,簡單的小游戲調動學生學習的熱情】
3) Ss read the story after the MP3 and try to answer the question: Who follows Zoom? (Pig)
(Ss wants to list all the animals at a time. T should raise more questions to let Ss understand the word follow) ① Who follows pig? ② Who follows dog? ③ Who follows duck? (逐句跟讀課文并簡單提問)
4) (When Zoom meets pig, What does Zoom say?) Question leads to the the key sentence: Follow me.

【設計意圖:跟讀、板書不同的動物可以讓學生對故事的脈絡更加的清晰;創設更多的情境讓學生明白Follow me.的含義】 5) Ss read the story silently.
(學生默讀課文,思考兩個發散性問題) Q1: Have a guess, why do they follow Zoom? Q2: Why do they follow Zip at last?
【設計意圖:問題①的設置旨在發散學生思維,鼓勵學生大膽去猜、并運用已經學過的簡單語言嘗試表達;問題②的設置是要引出接下來的學習內容:Zip has a carrot.】
6) New word teaching and practicing: carrot. Game: Hide and seek.
(單詞carrot新授,捉迷藏游戲鞏固練習。)
【設計意圖:全班同學異口同聲說單詞,并在游戲中操練,趣味十足】 7) T: I have a carrot. Do you have a carrot? (Check around your chairs.) (同學們尋找老師事先藏好的carrot,隨即脫口而出I have a carrot.)
8) Sentence pattern practice: I have a ... .
(T引導同學們利用現有的資源,比如課堂上的小獎勵、自帶的文具來練習句型I have a ... .)
【設計意圖:同學們通過尋找并驚喜的發現T事先藏好的胡蘿卜并脫口而出I have a carrot.流暢自然; 對課本句型靈活運用,以達到真正掌握的目的;】

9) Rabbit loves carrot.
Q: Why do the other animals follow the rabbit? (提問:為什么其他小動物要跟著兔子呢?)

Step 3: Practice and expansion
1) Ss read the story all together and volunteers act the story out. (齊讀課文,表演故事) 2) (T: Zoom is not happy. He is alone.)
Group work: Try to make up an ending for the story and act it out. (Zoom被丟下很不開心,小組合作,續編故事)
【設計意圖:小組合作、發散學生思維、通過續編讓整個故事更完整】 3) (看過學生的表演后,T還原完整故事情節)
In fact, today is Zoom’s birthday. All the friends want to give him a big surprise and make him happy. They prepare a party for Zoom.
Moral education: Friends are really the best gift which you give to yourself.
(原來今天是Zoom的生日,小伙伴想用一種特殊的方式給Zoom驚喜。
情感教育:好朋友是送給自己最好的禮物。) Step 4: Homework
1) Tell this story to your friends or parents. 2) Try to draw an ending to this story and act with your partners. (Listen! The party is about to begin. Do you want to go with me? Do you want to share your gifts with Zoom? Follow me!)
【設計意圖:以參加Zoom生日趴為由,T播放兔子舞的音樂,學生帶著小禮物跟著老師的指令走出教室并結束本節課的學習】
