孩子們已經掌握了What are these?這個句型,但是還不夠熟練。剛學習了部分動物的單詞。孩子們有運動英語的欲望,并愿意去拓展自己的知識。

重點:掌握句型“What are those?”“Are they horses?” 以及它們的回答。
難點:對句型“What are those?”“Are they horses?” 的實際運用。

StepⅠ Warming-up
1.Sing a song <<Two tigers>>
2.Greetings and free talk
Step Ⅱ Lead-in
Ask:How many students are there in our class?
Get Ss to answer it.Review “How many”
Lead Ss to a farm.Tell them how they are assessed during this class.(Have a PK at the farm.PPT shows the farm.)
Step Ⅲ Presentation
Teach the new words:those(pronunciation teaching: “o…e”);animal;a lot of;What about;And practice them in different ways.
Play a game named “What`s missing?” to master the new words better.
Play a guessing game,and learn the new dialogue:
What are those?
Are they horses?
Are they hens?
No,they aren`t.
They`re ducks.
Doing some practice about the dialogue.Hand out some pictures to Ss. Have them ask and answer in pairs.At last,get some pairs to act in front of the class.
Sing a song with the melody of <<Two tigers>>,using the dialogue words.
Watch an animation.Watch,Listen,Read after it.
Free reading then try to find out the answers to the questions on PPT.
Read the conversation in pairs.Five minutes later,invite some pairs to read or act in front of the class.
