Unit4 At the farm B Let’s talk& Let’s learn

一、 教學目標
1.能夠聽、說、認讀單詞: cow, hen, sheep, horse及其復數形式。 2. 能夠熟練運用What are those?/They’re …. / Are they…? /Yes, they are. /No , they aren’t. /What about those? /They are….等句型于真實語境之中。
3.學生能通過有針對性的提問,在文本中找到相關信息,提取答案 。 4. 能運用相關的句型,根據實際情境,編簡單的對話,并進行交流。
二、學情分析
學生情況:
學生已經有了一定數量動物單詞的積累,并且能夠比較熟練地表達這些動物的復數形式。同時學生在A部分已經學習并且掌握了句型:What are these?They are…?的問答形式。
三、重點難點
1.教學重點:
(1)能夠在實際情境中運用句型What are those?/They’re …. / Are they…? /Yes, they are./ No , they aren’t. /What about those? /They are….
2.教學難點:
(1)根據物體遠近,合理選擇these與those進行提問。根據單復數情況合理選擇this與these,that與those。
(2)在實際情境中運用句型進行交流。
四、教學過程
一、熱身
1. 師生問候,欣賞歌曲 欣賞歌曲--- animals on the farm
【設計意圖】上課一開始,通過歌曲活躍氣氛,引出主題,為本課的學習做了鋪墊。 2. 復習
(1)組織學生談論剛剛歌曲里聽到和看到的動物 (2)教師課件呈現動物剪影,問:What are those?/ What are
these?/What’s that?/ What’s this? 學生用They are…. /It’s ….進行回答。
【設計意圖】通過欣賞歌曲,使學生在一種輕松愉快的氣氛中進入課堂。簡單的free talk拉近了師生間的距離,復習了部分動物單詞。動物剪影環節有效地復習了A部分Let’s talk的核心句型What’s are these?They are…同時滲透了新句型:What are those?They are…、Wow, a lot of animals!
3. 出示課題&任務,復習第一課時內容:
(1)呈現課文圖片,告訴學生:Last class we went to Mr.Macdonald ‘s farm with Sarah,Mike and John. We visited the Vegetable and Fruit
Garden together. Do you remember?復習第一課時課文內容。 (2)Now look. Are they still in the vegetable garden? No. Where are they? They are at the Animals Raising Zone. Today let’s talk about the Animals on the Farm.
(2)呈現本課topic: Animals on the Farm.
二、新授教學
1. 出示課文Let’s talk圖片,組織全班學生讀圖
出示課文圖片,組織全班讀圖:Mike likes animals. He says, Wow, you have a lot of animas! So what animals are they talking about? 【設計意圖】通過引導學生觀察插圖,了解語言環境,為課文新授做好準備。
2. 觀看視頻,回答問題:What animals are they talking about? 教授新詞:horse-horses
【設計意圖】引導學生帶著問題觀看視頻,在課文情境中學習新詞,做到了詞不離句、句不離情境。
3.觀看視頻,把問句放到合適的位置:Now you know the animals. Mike and Sarah are very curious about them so they ask some questions. Can you match the questions? Mike和Sarah是善于觀察又好學的孩子,他們問了幾個問題,你能把問題放到合適的位置嗎?Let’s watch again and try. 4. 教學功能句式: What are those? They are horse.
T: Mike hasn’t seen any horses before, so he asks like this. Mike之前從來沒有見過馬,所以他問:What are those?(自從注意采用自然拼讀法o-e,th,板書) Mr Macdonald answers: They are horses.(板書) Pay attention to Mike’s hands. Why does he point like this? Look, last time he says what are these. These, those. What’s the different? Yes, very good. Here’s a tip for you, when things are near us, we ask what are these, instead, we say , what are those. Clear? How clever. let’s chant. Show me your hands.
5看圖,運用希沃一體機的自帶放大鏡功能: Besides horses, there are many other animals here. Look! What are those?Yes, they are cows. They are so…教授新詞cow-cows, sheep-sheep, hen-hens 6.快速反應游戲操練動物單詞:Now you’ve met the animals on the farm. They want to have a show for you. Let’s see. What are those? 【設計意圖】對課文情境進行延伸,在連貫的情境中學習其它新單詞的同時操練功能句式,一箭雙雕。
6.指向馬群,問:How many horses can you see? 通過聽課文確認數量,并操練句子 How many horses do you have? Seventeen. 5. 操練句式What about those? Are they hens? No, they aren’t. They are ducks: Sarah has Qs too. She says….Are they hens?(板書)
通過創設情境Are these dogs?引出肯定回答Yes,they are. 并板書。
6. 板書總結,引導學生討論:當我們談論農場動物的時候我們可以從哪些方面來談呢? Boys and girls, look at the blackboard. When we talk about animals on the farm, what can we talk about? Discuss in groups please. Yes, We can talk about their kinds, numbers and features including the color and so on. Have you got it? Great.
【設計意圖】引導學生在小組合作學習中學會歸納總結并和學生一起搭建思維導圖,發展學生思維能力,培養學生學科核心素養。
7. 聽音跟讀課文
【設計意圖】呈現英語原音,讓學生輸入純正的英語,通過聽音跟讀,在語境中學習語篇。
三.操練鞏固
1. 創設情境操練目標語句。Guessing Game: Boys and girls, what do you think of the farm? Is it a beautiful farm? Yeah, Sarah and Mike are so happy. Let’s see more animals with them, OK? 通過不同場景中動物的蛋、聲音、腳印、愛吃的食物等,用What are these/those? They are… They are so… How many…?討論。
(1) Mike和Sarah到達的第一、二個場景,引導全班自由發言猜測。Look. They see a house. Whose house is it? There are so many food.
Mike asks, What are those, are they…? What will Mike ask?
(2) Mike和Sarah到達的第三個場景,引導同桌合作學習猜測。 (3)Mike和Sarah到達的第四個場景,引導四人小組合作學習猜測。
【設計意圖】信息差游戲調動學生學習積極性,在情境中有效地操練了目標語句。從個人到同桌再到小組合作學習,培養學生合作學習、自主學習能力。 2. Mike’s Three Pictures
愛好畫畫的Mike從農場回到家之后,畫了三幅關于農場的圖畫。Chen Jie和Mike一邊欣賞圖畫一邊討論。 Mike love the farm very much. When he comes home, he draws 3 pictures about the farm. Let’s have a look. Who’s this girl? Yes, Chen Jie and Mike are talking about the pictures. First, let’s listen. So, they are talking about the tomatoes and the cows. Yes. Now, let’s read.
第一幅圖片,教師提供全部的對話內容與圖片。請學生跟讀,并對話。This is the second picture. This time, they are talking this kind of vegetables. So, what are…
第二幅圖片,教師去掉部分信息詞語,請學生根據圖片信息,上下文線索,補充完成。
第三幅圖片,只有圖片內容和對話框,請學生充分發揮想象,進
行二人小組討論交流,編出一個新對話。This is the third pictures. No words are here. It’s time for you to fill in the blanks. Now try to discuss in pairs. The words here may help you.
3.Sarah’s E-book
播放Sarah眼中的農場微視頻,進行情感滲透,讓學生感受自然、感受農場之美。
4. Design your dream farm
(1)展示老師的Dream Farm,和學生問答,作為示范 This is Ms Chen’s dream farm. Can you ask questions about it? (2)利用ipad設計出你夢中的農場,和同桌互相交流你的農場,說得越多越好。
Do you want to design your own farm? (3)全班展示 四、總結反饋
總結本課重點單詞和句型以及使用的適合場景。 五、作業
1. Listen and imitate: Unit5 PartB.* Try to recite if you can.
(聽音仿讀課文,盡量背誦)
2. Search more information about farms abroad.
