一、教學內容:本部分主要學習三個學校設施名稱和幾個表示過去的時間短語:dining hall,
gym, grass, … years ago, last year等,教材通過吳一凡和他爸爸的對話呈現核心詞匯。 二、教學目標:學生能夠聽、說、讀上述單詞和詞組,并能恰當運用所學詞匯描述某個地方
的過去和現在;能夠歸類學習過的各種時態中表示時間的短語;了解唐朝人的生活狀態和條件,并能用簡單的句子進行描述。
三、學時重點:三個有關學校設施名稱的單詞和幾個表示過去的時間短語:dining hall, gym,
grass, … years ago, last year等;學生能運用所學詞匯對某個地方的過去與現在的狀態和變化進行描述。
四、學時難點:There be … 句型的現在式和過去式的區分 五、教學過程: Step 1. Warm-up 1. Greeting
2. Look and say.
T shows a picture and asks: What is it? Whose is this school? What’s in his school?
(設計意圖:從第一課時Let’s talk部分的內容入手,引出話題,讓學生能用There is …或There are …來描述吳一凡的學校)
Step 2. Lead-in and practice
1. T: Do you know what is near the school?
Ss say: Maybe there’s a … near the school. T: What can people do in the …? S: People can … in the …
2. T: There are some changes near the school. Look, last month there was no post office. Could
people … in the post office?
There was no café near the school 3 months ago. There was no cinema near the school last year. There was no motel near the school 8 years ago.
(設計意圖:以吳一凡學校周圍的變化為載體,老師引出四個表示過去的時間狀語: last month, 3 months ago, last year, 8 years ago.在過去的變化中,引出過去式There was … People couldn’t … or People didn’t …在描述的過程中,引入café和motel 兩個新單詞,為下面的操練作好鋪墊。)
3. T says: Also there are some changes in theschool. What was the school like last month/ 9
months ago/ last year/ 20 years ago? Let’s listen to the tape.
(設計意圖:老師從上一步學校周圍的變化轉到學校內部的變化。以聽力的形式展現,重現四個表示過去的時間狀語:last month, 9 months ago, last year和20 years ago。) 4. T asks: Whatwas the school like last month?
S: There was no grass in the school last month. T: Could the students run on the grass? S: Students couldn’t run on the grass.
T asks: What was the school like 9 months ago/ last year/ 20 years ago? S: There was no … in the school 9 months ago/ last year/ 20 years ago.
5. T: Now let’s look at the changes in the school. What was the school last month/ 9 months
ago/ last year/ 20 years ago?
6. T: Can you say the changes in the school?
(設計意圖:教師提問What was the school like … ago? 學生根據錄音內容回答問題。在學生回答的過程中,教師對三個新詞grass, dining hall, gym進行教學。學生在這個過程中,進一步對There was no … People couldn’t … People didn’t …進行操練。最后學生能以篇章的形式對學校的變化進行一個整體地描述。)
Step 3. Presentation and practice
1. T: So it was the school 20 years ago? Was it Wu Yifan’s school? Yes, it was his father’s school.

T: Ok, let’s say something about the old school. (設計意圖:從吳一凡爸爸的學校過渡到爺爺的學校。爺爺的學校在第一課時Let’s talk中已經進行教學。本課中老師讓學生看著學校的圖片回憶出爺爺的學校。在這個過程中,老師對There were no …這一句型進行教學。)
2. T: Look, it was an old picture of a school. I have another old picture not about the school, but
about the city. Our foreign teacher gave the picture with many mistakes.
For example: There were no gyms. So people couldn’t play table tennis in the gym. Actually it was in the Tang Dynasty. Also we can say many years ago or at that time. Please fine out more mistakes in your groups.
(設計意圖:老師從爺爺的老學校的照片過渡到一張更老的照片。通過觀察,引導學生發現圖中有很多的錯誤。在描述的過程中,老師告知學生這張圖片的年代是in the Tang Dynasty, 我們也可以說many years ago或者at that time。接下來學生以組為單位對圖中的錯誤進行討論,然后全組同學匯報。)
Step 4. Practice
1. T: It was a city in Tang Dynasty. Now it has changed a lot. Our world has changed a lot too.

2. T: The world has changed a lot. And our city has changed a lot too. I have some pictures
about our city. Do you want to have a look?

(設計意圖:運用互聯網技術,老師讓學生觀看一些有關我們的城市富陽的一些照片。在觀
看的過程中,老師和同學們一些交流:What is it? What can you do there? It was built in the year of … How many years ago there was no …? Could people … there … ago?等等,在此環節中,老師把所有在本課中涉及的語句進行一次再現,為下面的小組展示作好鋪墊。) Step 5. Consolidation
1. T: We know Fuyang has more changes. Use your head and tell me the changes. Please discuss
in groups. Then show us your speech.
(設計意圖:這是一個拓展運用的過程。老師引導學生運用本節課所學的語言點,以小組為單位,對富陽近幾年的變化的描述進行展示。每個組的學生在課前準備了一些富陽的老照片,展示時,學生對著圖片進行描述。)
