本課選自 PEP 5 Unit 4 Part C Story time(P45)。本單元的主題是What can you do?。語言知識主要涉及What can you do? I can … Can you…? Yes, I can. No, I can’t.等句型。該故事講述的是一只老鼠不小心碰到了想吃掉它的蛇,聰明的老鼠積極地開動腦筋,騙過了蛇,從蛇口逃生的一次經(jīng)歷,是孩子感興趣的話題。通過有趣的故事創(chuàng)設(shè)真實的情景,綜合孩子們已有的語言知識,鞏固本單元核心語料。 教學 設(shè)計 說明
這是一節(jié)有趣的故事課,內(nèi)容簡單易懂。從情感態(tài)度價值方面來說,要培養(yǎng)學生遇到危險要冷靜并開動腦筋的意識。本課故事教學突出“講故事”,特別是引導學生觀察故事中的人、物、環(huán)境,通過師生互動共同來理解故事。教學重點是理解故事,而不是語音、詞匯和語法。本課嘗試創(chuàng)設(shè)戲劇氛圍,使學生通過說,唱,玩,演,去思考,去合作,去實踐,真切體驗故事人物角色的心理和情感。學生在理解、朗讀、表演故事等過程中逐步提高綜合語言運用能力。

教學 目標
1. 學生能通過傾聽、讀圖、預測和切身的角色體驗理解整個故事內(nèi)容,并能感受
到英語學習的樂趣。
2. 學生能在故事推進過程中,在整體語境中理解句子“Here comes some tasty
food.”, “Wait a minute”,”There is a lake near here.”以及單詞”throw”, ”silly”, 和詞組 ”swim away”的意思。
3. 學生能在情境中鞏固運用本單元核心句型What can you do? I can….Can
you…? Yes, I can…. No, I can’t. 4. 學生能有感情地朗讀并表演故事。
5. 學生能樹立遇到危險要冷靜并開動腦筋的意識。 教學 重點 難點
重點:
1. 學生能通過傾聽、讀圖、預測和切身的角色體驗理解整個故事內(nèi)容,并能感受
到英語學習的樂趣。
2. 學生在理解故事的基礎(chǔ)上能用正確的語音語調(diào)和情感朗讀并表演故事。 難點:學生能夠以戲劇形式表演整個故事。

在復習本單元核心詞匯的過程中,引出snake和rat,引導學生說說他們腦海里What can snake/rat do? 激發(fā)并活躍學生思維。為引入故事做好鋪墊。
通過draw的方式,在黑板上呈現(xiàn)故事發(fā)生的環(huán)境,引導學生根據(jù)故事開頭的場景猜測What can the snake/rat do? 在熟練本單元核心句型的同時,激發(fā)學生的興趣和好奇心。
