Students: Class 2, 44 students. They have learned the words about week and date,
and the sentences asking about the week and the date. In daily studying life, they are able to follow teacher’s English orders.

What day is/was/is it today/yesterday/tomorrow? It’s Monday.... What is/was/is the date today/yesterday/tomorrow? It’s June the 11th. What is/was/is today/yesterday/tomorrow? It’s Monday the 11th. (3) To train students’ listening and speaking. 2. Method Objectives in Teaching
Predicting the listening contents based on the picture given on the book before listening.

Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Greeting
Greet students by asking students how were their Dragon-boat Festival vocation. Then share my vocation with them, show the sentences on the PPT and lead students to learn the key words and phrases.
Step 2 Warming Up
1. Play a funny Rap video to arouse students’ interests and review the expressions about week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Then lead students to learn the new words: weekend,weekday.
T: Good afternoon, everyone. How’s your Dragon-boat Festival vocation? S: ....
T: Great! I want to share mine with you. The day before yesterday, I ate too much zongzi. I didn't feel well. My mother looked after me so that she didn't play tennis with her friend. I was so moved. 2. Finish 1a. Ask students to fill in the blanks with the date. Then check the answers using the sentence patterns about asking date they learned before. After checking the answers, make students practice the conversations with their deskmates.
