教材分析
本課是一節聽說課,通過聽說活動拓展單元話題,鞏固目標語言的運用。活動la要求寫出一周相對應的日期。活動1b復習并拓展了表達時間的詞匯。活動1c借用la和1b的信息操練對日期提問的句型What’s today? It’s...。活動ld-le是結合日期等相關信息進行的聽力檢測。活動1f是聽力的延續,讓學生將聽到的信息用角色扮演的方式進行語言輸出。
教學目標
1. 初步了解描述將來的計劃或行動的方法。 2. 情感態度:培養學生獨立自主生活的能力。
教學重難點
重點:
1. 熟練掌握本課功能句型和詞匯。 2. 用情態動詞might描述將來的計劃。
難點:用本課的功能詞匯、句型和語法進行語言輸出。
課前準備
1.課前多媒體課件 2.復習周一至周日的詞匯。 3.復習一月至十二月的詞匯。
教學過程
Step 1. Lead-in 1. Greet the class
2. Ask students “how many days are there in a week ?”to lead in today’s lesson .
3. Review the days of the week and the do a spelling test to consolidate ,finally ask students to sing a song <Days of the week>
4. Have students teach months themselves.
5. Play a game I say, you say to review the numbers.
【設計意圖】
通過本活動復習以前所學的月份和一周七天的詞匯,并能復習如何提問日期,日期的表達法和如何提問星期幾等幾方面的句型,為本節課的后續環節打下基礎。 Step 2. Presentation
Show the calendar of this month, ask and answer questions about today with students according to the calendar.
1. Talk more about the calendar with students.
T: You know today is Thursday, November 19th. Then what day was it yesterday? S: It was Wednesday.
T: What was the date yesterday? S: It was November 18th.
T: What was the day before yesterday? S: It was Tuesday, November 17th.
2.Practice the sentence pattern below. Ask students to work in pairs to like the samples. T: What day is it today? S: It’s Thursday. T: What’s the date today? S: It’s November 19th.
3Work on la. Fill in the chart below. Write down the dates, and divide the days into weekdays and
weekends. November Sunday The Monday The Tuesday The Wednesday The Thursday The Friday The Saturday The
Ask students to work in pairs. Take turns to ask and answer questions about the days in la. 【設計意圖】
從談論今天的日期、周幾過渡到昨天、明天再學習新的時間表達詞匯前天、后天、工作日及周末。繼續談論前天、后天的日期和周幾,并讓學生分清哪幾天是工作日,哪幾天是周末。
Step 3. Presentation T: What’s today? S: It’s Wednesday the 12th.
Ask the students to practice the new sentence pattern according to the calendar. Step4.Listening to ld & le Before listening
Talk about the picture in ld with students.
T: Look at this picture. Do you know the boy? His name is Vince. What sport does he like, do you know?
S: I think he likes playing soccer. T: What’s he doing now? S: He is talking on the phone.
T: Yes, he is talking with Andy now. Andy is inviting Vince to play tennis with Andy? Then let’s listen to the tape and get the answer. 【設計意圖】
聽前先談論圖片能讓學生盡可能地獲取與聽力有關的內容,為獲取準確的聽力信息作準備。 While listening
1. Ask students to listen for the first time to find the answer to the question “Can Vince play tennis with Andy?” circle Yes or No
2. Ask students to listen again and match Vince’s activities with the days in ld. 3. Ask students to check the answers in pairs. Ask and answer like this: A: What is Vince going to do tomorrow?
B: He is going to play soccer and he is going to have a piano lesson. 4. Listen for the third time. Complete the listening text.
5. Listen and repeat. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 【設計意圖】
通過聽的方式鞏固本課功能句型。達到知識目標,先聽后讀,培養學生學習英語的良好習慣,同時學習正確的語音語調,爭取能說一口標準流利的英語。
Andy: Hi,Vince,can you play tennis with me? Vince:_________? Andy: Today. Vince: Sorry , I can’t . I________________________. Andy: How about tomorrow?

Step 5. Work on 1f After listening
Working in pairs, make a new conversation. Student A is Andy and student B is Vince. Andy invites Vince to play tennis.
1. Students practice giving and refusing invitations.
2. In a real life situation, if a student wants to accept an invitation but cannot do so, it is important to propose an alternative time. For example:
A: Hi, Vince, can you play tennis with me? B: When? A: Today.
B: Sorry, I can’t. I’m really busy this week. But how about next week? A: That would be great! 【設計意圖】
