單元分析:
本單元是go for it 八年級上冊第一單元第三課時。以Can you come to my party?這一問題展開話題,進行教學活動,使學生能夠從形式上從口頭對話發出邀請,接受邀請和拒絕邀請,逐步過渡到邀請函的寫作。 學情分析:
學生已經經過前面兩個課時的學習對這個話題的相關詞匯和短語有一定的知識儲備。這個班的同學能力較高,有一定的詞匯積累,他們有能力也愿意學習更多的知識。我上課更愿意從他們身邊的事例為話題,鼓勵他們更多的表達自己的想法,設計一些比課本活動更具挑戰性的活動。 知識目標:
1. 熟練掌握以下詞匯:
Weekday the day after tomorrow the day before yesterday
2.回顧并掌握以下有關時間的表達法: --What’s today? --It’s Tuesday the 13th. -- What’s tomorrow? --It’s Wednesday the 14th. --What was yesterday? --It was Monday the 12th. 3.能夠口頭上發出邀請,接受邀請,拒絕邀請。 能力目標:
1. 學生能夠運用目標語言學會發出邀請,接受邀請及禮貌的拒絕邀請。 2.學生能夠通過小組練習培養合作能力和交際能力。 情感目標:
學會合理安排時間,做到勞逸結合;學會有禮貌地邀請別人, 有禮貌地接受邀請或拒絕邀請,做一個有禮貌的人; 教學過程:
Step 1 Review the days in a week ,months, and ordinal numbers from 1st to 31st . T:Let’s have a quiz.
How many days are there in a week? How many months are in a year? What is the first day of the week? When is Children’s Day?
目的:活躍課堂并復習上學期學詞匯過的有關時間的。 Step2:
T: Look at the calendar.
Ask: --What day is today? --It’s Tuesday. --What’s the date today? --It’s December 13th. --What’s today?
--It’s Tuesday the 13th .
目的:學會新句型并熟知具體日期的另外一種表達方法。 Step 3:
First write these words below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a.
and then students read the words together.

1. Introduce Andy to Students
2. Work in a group of four and guess what Andy does on weekdays.
目的:小組合作以頭腦風暴的形式盡可能多的列舉出作為學生的Andy通常在工作日會有哪些活動,復習學過的詞組,為后面的設計做語言積累。 Step 5: Look at the phrases and classify them Ask them what they can see from the picture
Tell them life is combined with hard work and good rest. 目的:培養學生合理規劃自己的時間的能力。 Step6:watch a video and show them answers.
目的:訓練學生的第一個關注點,無論是閱讀還是聽力一定要關注事件本身。(What) Step 7:Ask students:
“what do you think of his life?” “What do you think of Andy?”
“What’s your idea of his schedule?’ Answers will vary, For example, Health is the most important.

目的:訓練學生獨立思考的思維品質,讓他們學會合理規劃自己的時間,使得英語不光是一種交流的工具更需要培養學生的批判性思維和創新思維. Step 8:
On weekends , Andy wants to play tennis with his friend Vince . 1.Can Vince play tennis with Andy? Circle Yes or No 2.Match Vince’s activities with the days
目的:對本節課的重點知識進行初步輸入,發出邀請及禮貌的拒絕邀請。 Step9:Work in pairs and make a similar dialogue 目的:半掌控操練,熟悉目標語言。 Step10:Let’s play a “changing face”
目的:學生需要根據笑臉哭臉的切換,及時調整自己的回答,訓練他們的思維靈活性。 Step11:Make your weekend schedule and remember that weekend is also a time with friends. So make sure you can invite someone to enjoy the weekends with you.
目的:綜合性任務。是學生能夠把本節課所學運用到平時的學習生活中來。
