通過了解流行電影及其對情緒的影響,學會在緊張的生活中通過看電影等娛樂了解電影文化,放松心情。
2學情分析
1. 這節課的話題是電影,是九年級的學生比較熟悉的話題。但部分學生對英文電影并不熟悉,大部分學生對文章所提及的電影尤其是紀錄片不大了解。 因此,有必要將文章所提到的電影片段稍作展示,讓他們對這些電影有個直觀認識。
2. 3a是一篇250字的短文,需要學生利用所學的閱讀策略,如跳讀和尋讀等進行信息的收集和整理。
3. 通過閱讀短文,觀察短文里包含定語從句的句子,學生將進一步認識定語從句的構成,并分辨關系代詞that, which, who的用法。這部分的教學嘗試使用微課視頻展示。
3重點難點
重點:
1. 分步驟閱讀短文,掌握文章大意及細節信息。
2. 學會區分定語從句中關系代詞who, that, which的用法。
難點:
1. 能流利地朗讀短文。
2. 能完成閱讀理解題目。

活動1【導入】介紹課題
1. 課前觀看電影《泰坦尼克號》主題曲MV,師生談論對這部電影的看法。
2. 介紹本節課的課題 Unit 9 I like music that I can dance to.( Section A 3a-3c)。
3. 介紹一個新朋友并認識他的情緒,學習新單詞down。從他的情緒中引出問題: What do you do when you feel down/bored?學生會回答:play games, play sports, listen to music, watch movies…由此引出下列閱讀前的活動。
活動2【活動】讀前活動
1. 玩大風吹游戲:所有學生站起來,聽到教師念以下含有定語從句的句子,符合情況的學生坐下去。聽到最后一個句子,所有學生基本上都會坐下去。
The big wind blows to everyone who wears glasses/has long hair/is taller than Ms Deng/wears black shoes/has short hair/loves Ms. Deng
2.說關于音樂的句子。一列8個學生談論自己喜歡的音樂:I prefer music that …教師展示書上出現的關于音樂的句子,全班齊讀。
3. 說關于電影的句子。一列8個學生談論自己喜歡的電影:I prefer movies that …教師展示書上出現的關于電影的句子,全班齊讀。然后引出下一個要學習的短文題目:What Do You Feel like Watching Today?
活動3【活動】讀中活動
1. 第1遍閱讀:快速閱讀,回答問題:How many movies are mentioned in 3a?學生將通過看短文中的斜體字快速找出答案為5部。
2. 第2遍閱讀,回答兩個問題What are their names?和What kind of movies are they?,并將答案填寫在表格里。檢查第一個問題的答案后,立刻播放電影預告片的片段,讓學生對這部電影有個直觀的認識,由此也可判斷電影類型。 看完后,學生要用簡短的句子描述這些電影,如a happy ending, funny dialogs, a documentary provides plenty of information about a certain subject, superhero just saves the world in time。這其實也是理解重點詞匯的過程。之后,學生朗讀電影的名字和新單詞,確保后面能流利朗讀短文。
3. 第3遍閱讀,完成表格中的description words。
4. 第4遍閱讀,選擇能完成句子的最佳選項。
