教學目標
1.語言知識目標:
1)能掌握以下單詞:paper,pollution,prediction,future
2)能掌握以下句型:
①What will be the future be like?
②Will people use money in 100 years?
③Will there be only one country?
④Kids won’t go to school.They’ll study at home on computers. 等等。
3)能了解以下語法: Will +動詞原形 表達一般將來時態
4)學會表達自己對未來的看法。
2.情感態度價值觀目標 通過引導學生展望未來,及對未來生活的設計,來達到前景教育的目的,同時也通過對前景的設想,讓學生在潛移默化中反省自己的現狀,使之對目前的學習,生活習慣做適當的調整;通過 “韶山創建文明城市”話題提高學生創文參與意識和環境保護意識,爭做文明小市民,暢想未來美好世界,并為之努力。
2學情分析
八年級學生對未來充滿好奇,機器人話題更是深入學生內心,深得學生喜歡,通過電影《超能陸戰隊》中機器人大白的片段引入,讓學生有開口談論未來的想法。
3重點難點
1.教學重點:
1)學習掌握一般將來時態的意義和結構。
2)掌握There be 句型的一般將來時態的結構。
2.教學難點:
掌握more/fewer ,more/less的用法。
will +動詞原形 來表示一般將來時態。
4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1教學目標
1.語言知識目標:

活動1【活動】Lead-in
Play a video of robots to lead in the topic.
T: What do you think of robots?...
T: Do you believe there are robots in our life? Do you believe there will be robots in our homes in the future?......
活動2【講授】Presentation
1. Lead the Ss. to talk about the future. T: What will the world be like in the future?
2. Show Ss. some pictures of future robots and future life to make Ss. know about the use of the simple future tense.
3. Ask some Ss. to read the predictions and other Ss. to decide agree or disagree.
活動3【練習】Pair work
1. Let Ss. ask and answer questions about the predictions in 1a. Then make their own conversation.
2. Let some pairs ask and answer about their conversation.
活動4【練習】Listening
1. T:Now let’s listen to two boys talking about their predictions about the future. Listen and circle the predictions you hear in 1a.
2. Listen and fill the blanks.
3. Check the answers.
活動5【講授】Presentation
1. Introduce the use of “fewer/less/more”.
2. Play a game, helping Ss. to grasp the use of “ fewer/less”. .
活動6【練習】Listening
Work on 2a:
1. Read the sentences in 2a.
2. Tell Ss. they will listen to some sentences. They should listen and circle the words they hear.
3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and circle the words.
4. Check the answers.
Work on 2b:
1. Let Ss. read the sentences below. Explain some main sentences for the Ss. To make sure they know what to do.
2. Play the recording for the Ss. to check the predictions they hear.
3. Check the answers.
活動7【練習】Consolidation
1. Pairwork
T: As you know, Shaoshan is building a civilized city. I think Shaoshan will be more and more beautiful. What will Shaoshan be like in the future? Please talk with your partners about it, using “There will be more/fewer/less...” to make predictions and “I agree/disagree” to express your opinions.
2.Group work
T: So we all think Shaoshan will be better and better in the future. And everyone is trying his best to do something for our city. We can do many things. I have some pictures for you. You can read the words by yourself. And you are also doing a good job. In our class, Jiang Xuwen wrote an article about that. And the volunteers are also try their best do something for Shaoshan. So as a middle school student, what will you do for Shaoshan? Please discuss with your classmates and write down some sentences on the paper.
3. Ipromise.
Ask Ss to make promises.
I promise I will respect our teachers, parents and the old. I will be friendly to others. I will read more books and study hard. Shaoshan is our hometown. I will try my best to make it more beautiful.
活動8【作業】Summary and homework
1.Summarize what Ss. have learned in the class: use “will” to make prediction sabout future.
2.Advice:To have a better future, everyone should try their best to save the earth. And we should also do something for our city. Homework:
1.Copy the new words of U7.
2.Read the tape scripts of Section A ,2a,2b. twice
