1. The main task (Outcome)
The students will be able to write a simple movie review by reading, imitating and trying in this lesson. (本節課最終需要是通過閱讀,提取, 模仿,嘗試達成寫作一篇簡易影評的目的。) 2. Language Focus The students will be able to use some words and sentences they’ve learned in this lesson to introduce a movie and express their feelings.
(本課語言重點是運用各類所學的詞匯和句型組織成文。) 3. Language Skills
Before writing:
Students will be able to have some materials and learn to make a writing outline. While writing:
Students will be able to use the outline to help them complete an article.
(本課是模仿寫作的過程,通過閱讀文本信息,學習寫作方法,列寫作提綱,從而生成文章的過程。)
4. Learning Strategies
The students will be able to use the writing mind-map to monitor their learning process.
The students will cooperate with their group members to finish the main task. The students will be able to reflect on their work.

The students sit in groups.
Teaching Procedures I. Warming-up 1. Greeting:
The teacher greets with students and talk with them about the movie which they watched before class. They will be able to know that they will not only enjoy some movies, but also learn to write something about the movie.
(在問候之時,利用簡短的對話與學生初步談論一下所看電影,告知學生本課主題與電影有關, 并且了解本課目標是學寫影評。) 2. Lead-in:
a. Tell students that they will not only enjoy movies today, but also learn to write movies
reviews of movies;
b. Present different kinds of movies on the screen and discuss these movies with them. (在告知學生本課要學習寫小影評這一主題之后,呈現他們需要用到的電影種類,在復習同時,為后面寫作做好鋪墊。) 3. Free-talk:
The teacher asks students What kind of movies do you like? And why? Let students express their own opinions freely.
Present some adjectives which are used to describe movies and other reasons.
(利用 Free-talk,操練與寫作相關的信息,讓學生自主表達觀點,從語言和思維兩方面為本課最后任務達成做好準備。) II. Presentation and practice
1. Play a record and let students guess what movies they will see.
2. Play Mulan. And then, ask them to fill in the blanks of the movie review. Task 1
Students are going to find the information from the movie review they have finished, and complete the writing notes of Mulan.
(本環節利用了八上課本里的材料作為導入模板,以影評引出影評,作為預熱階段,讓學生先大致了解影評的模式。) III. Learning and thinking
Present the mind-map of how to write a movie review. Let them know what they are writing and how they are writing it.
(通過思維導圖,理清學生思路,使得學生的思維有一個邏輯的引領,為后面的寫作做好扎實鋪墊。) IV. Practice Task 2
Play the preview of Frozen first, then give a simple movie review to them. Students try to finish the mind-map of this movie review after reading it.
(掌握并運用的操練,以同齡人寫的一篇影評作為學生們的練習對象,貼近學生思維模式,讓難易度適合學生水平,體現以生為本的理念。)

V. Group-work
Present the posters of hot cartoons, let students choose a movie they like and they have seen first. Then finish the mind-map by working in groups. Task 2
Students try to write a movie review in the work sheet by using their mind-map. Share their works in front of class.
(在事先了解的情況下,盡量提供學生們喜歡的,看過的卡通電影作為他們選用的素材,使學生們所學的寫作內容能易于實現。任務的簡易性把握讓本堂課的目標達成面更廣。小組合作更能使每個學生都能參與與分享,從而滿足學生們的成就感。) VI. Emotion
When we are stressed, we can see a movie to relax.
When we feel sad, we can see a movie to make us happy.
When we get bored, we can see a movie to make our life colorful. After watching a movie, __________________________.
(Let students fill in the blank like we can write a movie review.) So, while we are enjoying movies, let’s enjoy our life! Homework
Watch a newest movie and try to write a movie review. If you think your review is good enough, send it to the teacher and join the “Movie Review Show”.
