本篇課文以火為主題，圍繞火綜合運(yùn)用了情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must, mustn’t。學(xué)生已經(jīng)步入五年級(jí)，思想都發(fā)生了很多轉(zhuǎn)變，學(xué)習(xí)積極性不是很高，尤其不愛(ài)發(fā)言，但是他們?cè)趲啄甑膶W(xué)習(xí)生活中積累了很多英語(yǔ)知識(shí)，如果能夠調(diào)動(dòng)他們的學(xué)習(xí)積極性，會(huì)收到良好的效果。
學(xué)習(xí) 目標(biāo) 1. 幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)四會(huì)單詞fire; hurt; must; careful; smoke; burn down;(be) careful with，能夠綜合運(yùn)用句型We must be careful with fire.和We mustn’t play with matches.
2. 使學(xué)生懂得用火安全，讓學(xué)生明白火的危險(xiǎn)性。
3. 掌握must情態(tài)動(dòng)詞的使用。

從幼兒所熟悉的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境入手，利用學(xué)生已有的認(rèn)知水平引入
watch TV,觀看火災(zāi)視頻，導(dǎo)入主題。

T: Boys and girls. Look ! My name is Ella, so you can call me Ella, Ok?
T: Class begins! Stand up! Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Ella. T: There are so many teachers in our class, please say hello teachers.
T: Ok, sit down, please. What do you usually do at home?
Ss: I usually play chess with my grandpa./read a
book/watch TV...
T: Ok, boys and girls. Let’s watch TV first. Ok? 教師播放森林著火的視頻
T: OK! What can you see in this video?
Ss: T: Yes. There is a big fire in the forest. The people get away from the fire. Today we’ll talk about the fire.(板書Fire)
【講授】Fire is dangerous.
T：In this video. What happened？
Ss: 著火了 （The forest is on fire.） T: Is it terrible? Ss: Yes.
T: Why?
S1: Fire can burn down a lot of trees.
S2: Fire can hurt people.
S3: Fire will be produce a lot of smoke to pollute the environment. T：Yes, you are so smart. Sometimes fire is terrible. Fire is dangerous,
too. So we must be careful with fire.
Safety first!
T: Children, what do you know about fire safety？
Look at these pictures.(出示安全標(biāo)識(shí)) Can you tell me what do these signs mean? Ss: （Don’t smoke）
T: (把 Don’t smoke 卡片放到公交車上)I will put it in a bus. Don’t smoke! it means we mustn’t smoke in the bus, yes or no?
Ss: Yes
T:So we mustn’t smoke in public. Ok. If I put the sign in the forest. Don’t smoke! What does it mean？
Ss: We mustn’t smoke in the forest.
T: Great! OK, look this sign, what does it mean? Oh,(指圖片上的火柴)look! Do you know what’s this? It’s a match. Don’t play with matches . What does it mean?
Ss: We mustn’t play with matches .
通過(guò)觀看視頻來(lái)調(diào)動(dòng)他們視覺(jué)，聽(tīng)覺(jué)和觀察力來(lái)參與語(yǔ)言活動(dòng)。
