教學目標
以課前作業為基礎，通過課上朗讀、概括大意、欣賞表達方式、翻譯句子、編寫解說詞等方法或環節，學生們能夠：
1. 說出重點的單詞和短語及其重要性；
2. 利用所學的重點單詞和短語翻譯句子； 3. 編寫具體情景下的解說詞。
整體設計
讓作業與課堂教學互相支持，在大量有效輸入基礎上，通過充分的口語交流和有針對性的筆頭翻譯練習，讓學生有效的輸出句子，表達真實意義。
教學過程
1. Homework checking (17 minutes) a. The students read the passage and summarize the main idea.
b. The students share useful expressions and the reasons why they like them. c. The students practice useful expressions by translating sentences.
2.
Watch a video and talk about
it
( 15 minutes) a. Some of the students share what they know about the wild ducks in Jilin City. b. Watch a video clip about Ren Jianguo and his wild ducks. c. The students answer the questions about the video clip d. The students describe the pictures in the display boards.
3. Sharing students’ boards (7 minutes) Some of the students share their display boards and read the descriptions.
4.
Homework (1 minute)
The students are to write a short passage of the change of the wild ducks on Changbai Island.
