Teaching aims:

1.Brainstorm:
Look at the pictures and think about their own experience of keeping pets
2. Share their background information about wildlife after learning the former classes of this unit.
1.呈現人與寵物的和諧畫面,并提問Q1:Have you ever kept pets?
Q2: What pets have you kept? 2.將學生分兩大組1分鐘內搶答已學到的野生動物名稱,并掌聲鼓勵搶答最多的小組。
1. 以學生親身經歷喚醒對野生動物的愛護之情,以強烈的情感體驗引入本堂課保護野生動物的話題。
2.本活動的目的是激活學生已有的背景知識,并使他們積極主動地參與本單元中心話題的思考與討論,同時通過競爭增加趣味性和自信。

Task2: Discuss about the target words in groups and try to use them translate the sentences in Task 2
1. Ask students to circle out the numbers in the listening exercise.
2. 巡視學生完成情況,確定需要播放音頻的次數。 3. 請學生找出近義詞,并教讀。 4. 提示學生討論目標詞匯的詞義、詞性、搭配用法,巡視以解決學生疑問,幫助學生,并邀請學生展示成果。
