教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1.學(xué)生能夠通過對這一寫作要求的分析, 發(fā)現(xiàn)可以支撐My favorite animal這一話題的一些角度.并能按照由外及里的邏輯順序, 理清文章的結(jié)構(gòu).
2.通過示例, 分析和總結(jié)歸納,學(xué)生能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)如何從general descriptions到 specific descriptions的寫作的奧秘.
3.學(xué)生能夠根據(jù)所學(xué)習(xí)到的方法, 修改完善自己的寫作.
2學(xué)情分析
所教班級為中等偏上的班級. 在本單元開始之初, 在學(xué)生進(jìn)行了第一課時的聽說課(學(xué)生能夠簡單談?wù)揥hat is the animal? Where is it from? Why do you like it?)之后,老師讓學(xué)生圍繞著What is your favorite animal? Why do you like it?這兩個問題進(jìn)行了預(yù)寫作. 從學(xué)生的預(yù)寫作中發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生的寫作主要存在以下一些問題:
The unity( 統(tǒng)一性)of the topic with the supporting details.
Logical order. (邏輯順序)
Too many general descriptions without specific descriptions. (概括性描述的詞很多,缺少具體的細(xì)節(jié)支撐。)
針對以上寫作中存在的這些問題,特設(shè)計(jì)了這節(jié)寫作課,使學(xué)生學(xué)會從general description到specific description的寫作.
3重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn)
學(xué)生能夠發(fā)現(xiàn)如何從概括性寫作到具體描述性寫作的方法,并使二者相一致。
4教學(xué)過程
4.1第6學(xué)時
4.1.1新設(shè)計(jì)
1.重申單元寫作任務(wù), 明確單元寫作要求
2.根據(jù)話題, 確定寫作的角度及這些角度的邏輯關(guān)系
3.從外貌、能力和性格特征三個角度讓學(xué)生體會如何從概括性寫作到具體描述性寫作。
4.課后進(jìn)一步修改自己的文章.
4.1.2教學(xué)活動
活動1【導(dǎo)入】七下Unit 5 Why do you like pandas (Writing
Step1.Restate the writing task of this unit " My favorite animal" and analyze what aspects can be included to support this topic.
Step 2. According to students' pre-class writing, narrow to three aspects (appearance, ability and personality) to support this topic and try to find the logical order of these three aspects: from outlook to inner personality.
Step 3 Show one student’s writing and find the existing common problems in the students’ writings before this class.
Step 4 Focus on how to give specific and vivid appearance descriptions with a sample of cats' appearance description.
Step 5 Try to find the methods and secrects of vivid specific description.
step 6 Practice the methods by describing “ the other animals and dolphins”.
