通過實踐讓學生體驗學習英語的樂趣,并能勇于展示自己的才能。通過小組活動談論彼此的特長與愛好。
2學情分析
本單元的主題是運用情態動詞can談論能力,通過對目標語言的學習使學生能夠表達自己在某一方面所具備的才能;通過談論彼此的特長與愛好培養一種群體意識。初一學生處于英語學習興趣培養和學習習慣養成階段。他們希望在學習過程中享受到樂趣,不希望老師死板地講解字詞及句型。能夠激發他們好奇心和創造力,并與他們日常生活緊密相連的學習語境是他們希望教師在課堂上能呈現的東西。一旦教師走進他們的生活,他們就愿意跟著教師走,掌握文化知識,了解學習策略,形成良好的人生觀和價值觀。
3重點難點
(一)教學重點(Teaching important points)
1、學習重點詞匯:guitar,chess,join,paint,dance,speak,swim,sing,can’t=can not
2、掌握情態動詞can的肯定句和否定句,一般疑問句及肯定,否定回答。
(二)教學難點(Teaching difficult points)
1、使用情態動詞can表示能力。
2、把情態動詞can的教學有機融入情景教學中。
4教學過程
4.1第一學時
4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】Step 1. Warming－up
Greet the students as usual and ask several students what they often do every day, for example: I often do homework / play ping pong/ read books … 鼓勵學生談論日常活動,引導學生關注動詞短語,也為接下來的談論自己的能力奠定基礎。
活動2【講授】Step 2. Presentation
Introduce a friend named Jack to the students . Jack is a Can-Do-Kid. What can he do? Lead the students to learn the new phrases such as “ play the drum, play the guitar, sing, dance, draw speak English.” Review the phrases , and finish 1a, then teach them the pattern: Can you play the drum? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.
介紹一個無所不能的朋友給學生們認識,引導他們掌握本節可的重點詞匯,同時詢問他們是否也能成為一個無所不能的人?
活動3【活動】Step 3. Work in pairs
Show some pictures to them and ask them to do pairwork.
互相詢問對方會做的事,增進同學之間的了解。
活動4【活動】Step 4. Show yourself
The student talks about his own abilities, eg. I can play the guitar and sing, but I can’t …. 運用所學句型談論自己會做以及不會做的事,展示自己,同時意識到自己的差距。
活動5【活動】Step 5. Super interview
The students work in groups of four, interview each other and then report like this: In my group, Lily can…
小組合作,進一步運用所學句型。
活動6【活動】Step 6. Listening
Listen to the tape and finish 1b. After listening, ask them a question: What club does the girl want to join?
聽力訓練,檢測剛學的內容。
活動7【活動】Step 7. Welcome to the clubs
Show some clubs to them, and lead them to talk about the club they want to join, eg. I like telling stories. I can tell stories well. I am good at telling stories. I want to join the story telling club. Ask several students to talk about the club they want to join. After that, play the tape for them and finish 2a and 2b. Check the answers.
呈現不同的俱樂部,讓學生來談論自己想加入的俱樂部以及原因。接著播放錄音機完成2a和2b部分。
活動8【活動】Step 8. Pairwork
Work in pairs and talk about the things they can do and the club they want to join.
兩人一組合作學習,談論自己會做以及不會做的事以及想加入的俱樂部,進一步鞏固所學內容。
活動9【活動】Step 9. Enjoy a joke ： A dog can play the piano
聽笑話學英語:通過一則笑話小狗會彈鋼琴,引導學生明白,只要自己努力,他們一定會成為一位Can-Do-Kid.
活動10【活動】Step 10. Groupwork
Job interview: Show them a poster, and ask them to make a dialogue. 引導學生進行Job Interview小組活動,讓學生在閱讀廣告之后向全班同學進行調查,詢問誰能勝任所招聘的工作,練習運用所學目標語言,達到學有所用的目的。

According to the poster above and finish the letter.
