教學目標
能力目標:能夠談論具備何種能力;能詢問與回答加入何種社團。
知識目標:(1)掌握7種能力的表達和情態動詞Can 表示能力的用法。
(2)掌握5種俱樂部的名稱并能對加入何種俱樂部問答。
3,情感目標:能夠自信地表達自己具備的能力和意愿,能從興趣出發,堅持自己的夢想。
2學情分析
初一(下)的學生已有一定的英語基礎,有一定的學習生活經歷和個性化的主張,大部分學生能較好地進行英語課堂上的活動和小組合作,并且對游戲,小組競賽,表演等充滿熱情。
3重點難點
本節課重點是讓學生初步掌握情態動詞”can"表示具備某種能力的用法。
難點是英語談論加入某種俱樂部的相關內容。

4.1.1教學活動
活動1【導入】warming-up
Play a short piece of music. Ask students to guess what kind of musical instrument it is. Arouse students' interest and lead into this class.
活動2【導入】Leading-in
Tell students that students are wanted by all the clubs in our school this new term. And ask them if they know how to pass the club interview . Guide them to learn to talk about "abilities" and" the clubs they want to join" in this class.
活動3【活動】Listening 1b
Ask students to listen to 1b
(!) Ask students to number the conversations(1-3)
(2)Ask students to find out the sentences people use to talk about abilities according to 1b.
活動4【講授】Teaching the new words and key sentences
(1) Show pictures about 7 abilities and teach students to read .
(2) Ask students to classify the abilities into 4 types
(3) Talk about some pictures using the key sentences
活動5【活動】Playing a game-charades
Ask students to play a game called charades .
Tell them the rules first :
·(1) One student act in the front
·(2) The other students guess what he or she can do , using the key sentences.
A: Can you ?
B: Yes, I can . I can .
/NO, I can’t. I can’t .
活動6【活動】Listening 2a and 2b
(1) Ask students to listen to 2a and circle the clubs they hear.
(2) Ask them to listen to 2b and fill in the blanks.
活動7【講授】Teaching the names of the clubs and key sentences
(1) Show pictures of different clubs and ask students to make quick responses
(2) Teach them how to talk about the clubs they want to join.
活動8【活動】Group competition——chainwork
Ask students to have a group competition
Tell them the rules first:
· (1) Students are divided into four groups.
(2)·EACH group is divided into two lines
(3) ·Line A ask: What club do you want to join?
· (4) Line B answer: I want to join the _________ club.
(5) The teacher will be the timer to see which group is the fastest.
活動9【活動】Showtime---Mock Club Interview
Ask students to make a mock club interview
Rules: ·(1) Work in groups of four or more
· (2) Some play the interviewer(s) and others play the interviewee(s)
· (3) Remember to use the key sentences we’ve learnt.
· (4) Add more information to make it more interesting
· (5) Act it out in the front
(Show a possible version on the screen to help students)
活動10【作業】Summary
(1) Let students know interest is the best teacher. When we face lots of choices, just follow our heart
(2) Summarize the things we have learned today and show them on the screen

Homework
1. Ask students to make a survey after class. Interview at least 4 students about their abilities and the clubs they want to join.
