教材與學情分析
本模塊的話題是“動物”，從屬于2011版《英語課程標準》第二十個大話題“自然”下的第六十八子話題“動物和植物”。班里絕大部分的學生都去過北京動物園，都很喜歡動物，也渴望了解動物。這有利于激發學生的學習興趣。本節課主要是動物園的解說員與托尼和玲玲之間的一段對話。通過詢問和解答，托尼和玲玲了解了獅子、熊、大熊貓和大象的食物并對這些動物做了簡單的評價。
本模塊的重點語法是一般現在時單數第三人稱肯定句、否定句、一般疑問句及其回答。學生在第五模塊已經掌握了一般現在時非三單的肯定句、否定句、一般疑問句及其回答，對于本模塊的學習起到了一定的幫助。此外，本單元的詞匯大致分為三類。第一類是關于動物的詞匯。其中，giraffe、elephant和zebra對于學生來說相對較為陌生。第二類是關于動物的所吃的食物的詞匯。其中，plant和bamboo相對較難。第三類是描述動物的形容詞。其中，dangerous的讀音和拼寫對于學生來說較難。本節課將重點放在詞匯上面。
授課的班級是初一（4）班，共27名學生。本班屬于初一年級的平行班級，整體水平較好，但也存在少數同學與班級平均水平相差較大。本班學生有學習英語的熱情，上課積極參與課堂，有良好的記筆記的習慣。本節課是一節PAD展示課，本節課將用到拖動，投屏，屏幕廣播，全班推送及高級推送等功能。
教學目標
1. 通過聽力獲取動物所吃的食物及對其特征的描述的詞匯。 2. 能夠簡單描述動物的來源、食物及其特征等信息。 3. 培養學生熱愛動物的情感，增強保護動物的意識。
教學重點
獲取動物所吃的食物及對其特征的描述的詞匯及簡單地描述某一種動物。
教學難點 學生能夠自主運用所學的語言來描述動物。

教學流程圖
播放一段關于動物園和動物的視頻，引出本節課的話題。并了解學生已知的關于動物的詞匯，激活學生的背景知識。
通過圖片，幫助學生學習關于動物的名稱及修飾動物的形容詞。
通過聽力獲取信息。
第一遍。了解對話發生的背景及
主要內容。
第二遍。通過聽力完成表格，獲取動物所吃的食物和對動物的描述。
觀看flash，關注語音語調。
通過問答，基于對話內容，豐富對于熊貓的描述。引導
學生總結出，可以從哪些方面介紹動物。
兩人一組介紹獅子和大象，內化介紹動物的語言。
小組活動，組內介紹動物，其他同學猜測這是什么動物。口頭落實描述動物的語言。
