Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show? Section B 3a-3c (P.39)
一、教材分析
本單元針對不同類型的電視節目或電影談論看法與偏好,幫助學生合理計劃課外活動。Section A圍繞TV shows展開, Section B在此基礎上拓展了電影的話題。本部分的難點是閱讀和寫作,閱讀語篇中設計一些中外文化,還涉及一些長句及與語義的深層表達,需要學生具備一定的詞匯句子知識和在能在語境中體會語言表達的真實含義。寫作內容為影評,學生在使用本單元目標語言的基礎上,還需要一些語言儲備。在介紹電影情節、演員等信息時,需要教師給予更多的語言幫助。
二、教學目標
根據《英語課程標準》的要求和學情將教學目標確立如下: 1、語言知識目標:
掌握下列生詞: dress up; take sb ’s place, army, do a good job。 復習to不定式做賓語的用法。
掌握后面跟不定式結構做賓語的動詞,如plan to, want to等。 2、語言技能目標
能夠綜合運用所掌握的知識來描述自己所喜歡的一些動畫片或影視劇。
培養閱讀策略。通過以讀促寫教學培養寫作能力、提升寫作技巧。
3、情感目標
每個人都有自己的愛好,要了解個體的差異性,了解自己的愛好,尊重別人的愛好;了解一些影視片的內容,通過觀看不同形式的影視片來了解社會,豐富自己的文化知識。
三、教學重點和難點
1.重點:能夠綜合運用所掌握的知識來描述自己所喜歡的電影。 2.難點:獨立寫作。 四、學情分析
與其它同年齡的孩子一樣具有共同的特點:模仿能力強,仍然有較強的表現欲與參與意識,但對英語學科的學習興趣出現了兩極分化的特點,部分同學出現了學習困難的問題。
出于實際考慮,在適當降低學習難度、增加腳手架的同時,注重創設貼近他們生活、學習實際的情景,盡量使用直觀的形式,設計出真實、讓學生容易接受和操作的活動,讓其充分體驗和參與用英語做事,獲得英語學習的成功感。
五、教法
為了達到本課的教學目標,更好地突出重點、突破難點,根據《英語課程標準》的要求并結合教學內容。主要采用的教學法是:
1.支架式教學法
搭建支架;進入情景;獨立探索;寫作學習;效果評價。 2.情景交際法
課堂教學以情景交際法為主,盡量給學生以足夠的聽說讀的機
會。本課利用課件展示視頻、圖片為學生創設語境,讓學生在真實或模擬真實的情境中感知語言,體會語言,掌握語言的應用。
3.任務型教學法
在本課教學中,設計了用目標語言討論電影這個任務,通過貼近學生生活實際的任務活動,吸引和組織學生積極參與,使學生通過觀察、思考、討論交流和合作等方式完成任務,體驗團結合作帶來的學習樂趣。

Ⅱ. Lead-in and presentation
Task 1 .Ask some questions about Mulan. Let the Ss think and answer the questions:
T:Do you like cartoons? Do you know Mulan? Can you say anything about it? (Ss discuss the questions and answer the questions.) e.g.
S1: Mulan is brave, beautiful.
S2:Yes, I do. Mulan didn’t have any brothers. She takes his father’s place to fight in the army.
