教師活動: Greetings and leading in the title by showing the e-textbook.  
學(xué)生活動: Greetings and understanding what they will learn.
設(shè)計意圖: 由電子課本呈現(xiàn)本節(jié)課的教學(xué)頁面,有助于學(xué)生在接下來的活動中,快速在課本上找到相應(yīng)內(nèi)容。
活動2【講授】Presentation
教師活動:1. Show the pictures of some food to describe how food  can taste, and teach some new 
words. Then ask students to add different food after each adjective in the books.
學(xué)生活動:1. Look at the pictures and describe how the food can taste and master the new words. 
Then add different food and
 write them on the e-whiteboard actively. After that, check by using the sentence … can taste …
教師活動:2. Show more pictures and let students know about how more food can taste.
學(xué)生活動:2 Describe how the more food can taste and master the adjective (including the new word sour, sweet, bitter, hot). 
學(xué)情意圖:通過觀看食物圖片和品嘗薯片,激起學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,從而學(xué)會描述食物的味道和掌握有關(guān)的新單詞sour等;同時引出話題
How were  potato chips invented?
教師活動:3. Divide students into four groups. 
學(xué)生活動:3. Be in groups, work hard to get more smiles.   
教師活動: 4. Take out a box of potato chips, let students taste them. Then lead in the new words crispy and salty, 
and the history of potato chips.
學(xué)生活動: 4. Taste the potato chips and describe how they taste. Then master the two new words and prepare to 
know about the history. 
學(xué)情分析:將學(xué)生分組,在小組中學(xué)習(xí),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作能力和競爭意識。
 
活動3【練習(xí)】Practicing
教師活動:1. Lead in six sentences about the history of potato chips in the listening conversation. 
And teach the new words by mistake, customer, George .
學(xué)生活動:1. Students read the   sentences, understand them and master the new words.
教師活動:2. Play the tape, then show the answers.
學(xué)生活動:2. Listen and circle T for true or F for false, then show their answers, and check them.
學(xué)情分析:通過選對錯,填表格的方式,讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行聽力活動,鍛煉他們聽力的同時,了解薯片的歷史。
教師活動:3. Show a chart about the history of potato chips, then pass the chart on the paper.
學(xué)生活動:3. Read the chart and prefill in the blanks.
教師活動:4. Play again, then show the right answers.
學(xué)生活動:4. Listen again, fill in the blanks. Then read their own answers and check them.
學(xué)情分析:讓學(xué)生先預(yù)填表格,然后再聽,可降低聽力難度,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生好的聽力習(xí)慣。

教師活動:1. Ask Now do you know the history of potato chips? and let students discuss with partners.
(Walk through the classroom, help the students who need help.) 
學(xué)生活動:1. Discuss by using the conversation like
A: Hi, … do you like potato chips?
B: Yes. They are delicious.
A: How do they taste?
B: They taste crispy and salty.
A: Aha, who were they invented by?
B: …
教師活動:2. Encourage students to share their conversations at the desk or on the rostrum.
學(xué)生活動:2. Show it with the partner.
學(xué)情分析:讓學(xué)生通過兩人討論,從而達(dá)到鞏固描述食物味道的新單詞和有關(guān)薯片歷史信息的作用。
活動5【測試】Summary
教師活動:1. Ask what harvest we have in this class.
學(xué)生活動:1. Summarize in small groups.
教師活動:2. Congratulations to the winner group with students.
學(xué)生活動:2. Learn to Smile to life! Because Sour, sweet, bitter, hot are all nutrition, success and failure are harvest.
學(xué)情分析:以學(xué)生先在小組內(nèi)交流,然后自己陳述的方式總結(jié)本節(jié)課所學(xué)的內(nèi)容,體現(xiàn)學(xué)生的主體性。
活動6【作業(yè)】Homework
1. Try to make potato chips at home, and share them with families.
2. Know about the history of other food, and share it with us next class.
