Teaching Procedures(教學過程):
Stage 1 Lead in (第一階段 導入) Tell students that I opened a restaurant and a manager is needed in my
restaurant.Then, play a video to lead in the topic: potato chips.

Stage 2 Pre-listening(第二階段 聽前活動)
Step 1 Brainstorming(步驟一 頭腦風暴)
Ask students to think about more words to describe potato chips. (要求學生想
出更多形容薯片的形容詞。)
Step 2 Presentation(介紹聽力中的關鍵詞匯,并鞏固單詞的記憶)
Use pictures to demonstrate the key words and phrases which appeared in the
listening material. Help Students memorize all the words and phrases by playing a game(通過圖片展示聽力中的關鍵詞匯,做總結(jié),并通過分類游戲進行鞏固。)
Stage 3 While-listening (第三階段 聽中活動)
Step 1 Listen to the tape for the first time and answer questions about “when,
who and how”. 聽錄音,完成時間、人物、方法的三個問題。
1.When was potato chips invented ? It was invented in_________. 2.Who was potato chips invented by? It was invented by_________. 3. How was it invented ?
It was invented by ________.(=by_________)
Step 2 Listen to the tape for the second time and fill in the blanks. (Listen for
the key words.) 再次聽錄音,完成學案上的填空。
Step 3 Check answers by referring to the pictures. 根據(jù)圖片訂正學生的答案,
強調(diào)關鍵詞的作用
Stage 4 Post-listening (第四階段 聽后活動)
Step 1 Retell the story / Role play. (根據(jù)關鍵詞復述聽力內(nèi)容)
Teachers lead students to retell the story by using the key words. Then ask students to retell the story in group of four. Encourage students to act the story out.
