The First Period(1a-2d)
一、教材內(nèi)容分析: 英語《新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》英語新目標(biāo)go for it!八年級上冊第三單元主題為I`m more outgoing than my sisterSection A所呈現(xiàn)的是人物之間的特征比較,人物的個性比較。通過不同的比較,展現(xiàn)形容詞比較級的一般用法,重讀閉音節(jié)結(jié)尾的,輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的、多音節(jié)雙音節(jié)形容加more的用法。句型A+比較級+than B。…as+形/副+as…。 be good at 等等。借用日常交際用語,層層鋪墊,展開聽說讀寫,培養(yǎng)自主學(xué)習(xí)的能力。一切的活動設(shè)計(jì)都圍繞比較級展開。通過比較的方法,達(dá)到對人生完美境界的自我追求。教材內(nèi)容從基本語言知識到語言綜合運(yùn)用層層遞進(jìn),聽說讀寫依次展開,以一種循序漸進(jìn)的學(xué)習(xí)程序,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生在做事中有目的地學(xué)習(xí)語言。本單元的教學(xué)目標(biāo)確定為:1、掌握詞匯及形容詞比較級的形式。2、掌握形容詞比較級的一般用法,特殊用法。3、能用比較級的句型表達(dá)不同的或相同的人物、事物的特征。

2.能夠運(yùn)用比較級比較人與人的外貌和性格差別。
Language points(語言點(diǎn))
1.要求掌握以下句式: I am more outgoing than my sister. Tina is longer than Tina
Sam has longer hair than Tom.
She also sings more loudly than Tara. 2.要求掌握以下詞匯及短語:
outgoing, better, loudly, quietly, more loudly, play better than, both … and …
情感目標(biāo):A beautiful heart is more important than a beautiful face. Difficulties(難點(diǎn)):用比較級比較人與人的性格和外貌差別時is 和has的正確運(yùn)用。 Teaching steps(教學(xué)步驟)

Before class, the teacher will play Vocabulary preparation (教師利用英語比賽讓學(xué)生快速進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)英語氛圍中來。)
T:Play a words game first.Then guess what will we talk about today ? T:Yes ,personal traits compare people.
(因本班是中途接班,學(xué)生語言能力較差,老師先利用游戲預(yù)習(xí)本課單詞,引導(dǎo)鼓勵學(xué)生用盡可能多的形容詞,教師按照事先的分類一一寫到黑板上)

T: Look at the picture on page 17. Discuss in your groups about sth you can say about the picture. Ss maynotice there are twins.T: How many pairs of twins can you see in the picture? Who are they?
Ss may say there are three pairs of twins. Tina and Tara, Sam and Tom, Paul and Peter.
T: Yes, that’s right! There are three pairs of twins. Listen and number the pairs of twins in the picture.
After listening, have Ss show their answers.
