課型: 聽說課 教學目標:
1.知識目標:掌握描述人物外貌特征的詞匯和句型。
2.能力目標:能夠運用有關人物外貌特征的詞匯和句型較準確地描述人物的外貌特征。
3.文化意識:中外種族特征不同,對外表描述重點不盡相同;以及描述人的外貌詞匯使用分寸的把握。 教學內容: 1.話題:appearance
2.詞匯:big, small, blonde, black, round, long
3.句型:What does he look like? —He wears glasses. He has blonde hair. 教學重點:描述人物外貌特征的詞匯和句型 教學手段:多媒體、簡筆畫 教學過程: Step 1 Lead-in
Draw a circle on the blackboard, let students guess what it is. Then go on drawing, teach the target words and expressions.
Step 2 Show some students photos, theirs faces are covered by smiling faces, named them as “pop models”, ask students some questions, such as: Who are they? What do they look like? What do they do? Where do they study?
Then show their faces, let students talk about their appearances. Step 3 Play a game
Describe one of the students, tell the rules: If you are him or her, keep on standing, if you are not, please sit down.

Step 4 Show a picture of myself, invite students to describe me by using the sentence they learned before. Then ask them to type the sentence on the computer. Step 5 Drawing
Choose two students to draw a picture on the blackboard according to the clues. Prepare for the following listening practice. Step 6 Listening (1c)

課堂導入是教學藝術的第一個閃光點。本節課的導入,沒受教材內容的束縛,而是以教師親自畫的簡筆畫,引出新單詞round, blonde, glasses. 一開始上課便將學生課前分散的注意力即刻轉移到課堂上,并使其處于積極狀態。因授課班級不是本班學生,為了迅速拉近與學生的距離, 課前為該班幾名長相較有特色的學生拍照,邀請他們成為老師的明星模特, 引導學生對身邊熟悉的朋友進行描述, 自然過渡到本課新知識的學習。導入直接、自然,效果良好。在精心設計的幾項游戲中,教師為學生創設情景,既激發并強化了學生的學習動機,又將所學的知識擴展,為學有余力的學生提供了發展空間,努力提高學生的聽說能力, 學生情緒高漲、積極參與、主動思維、大膽實踐,促進了語言實際運用能力的提高。
不足: 輸入新知識時語言操練的形式不豐富,有待進一步研究。
