2學情分析
本課是針對初一下學期的學生教授,這些學生在英語閱讀的技巧訓練上還比較薄弱,所以老師應該深挖教材,制定與學生相對應層次的閱讀練習供他們鍛煉,以期提高學生們的閱讀理解水平和技巧。
3重點難點
1、Find the English meaning of the pronouns in 2b.
2、Understand 2b and know how to retell the newspaper article.

活動1【導入】預習案
一、預習內容: 請認真閱讀教材P53 Section B(2a~2c)的內容,自主完成預習檢測。
二、預習檢測:
1、預習課文,進行英漢互譯。

1、Predict the job of Joe Brown by looking at his wearing and asking questions.
2、Fast reading to get the answer: What's his job? What does he do every day?
3、Read for details:
Read paragraph2 and three pictures in 2b and answer some questions:What does he look like? Who is the real criminal?
Read paragraph2 carefully and fill in a chart.
5、Do2c.
Read the article again and write what the words in bold refer to.
6、Language points.
1)、Match the phrases with the Chinese meaning.
2)、Translate some difficult sentences.
7、Listen and imitate(模仿).
