一、教材內容分析
本節課是人教版新目標英語七年級下冊中第九單元Section B第一課時的聽說課。本單元的核心話題是談論人的外表形象(look), 教材內容圍繞著描述人的外貌特點展開,讓學生學會談論人的身高、體重、發型、面部特征及著裝特點,因此 “talking about sb’s look” 是教學重點。通過對本節課的學習,學生能掌握本節課出現的表示人外觀的詞組及句型。 二、教學目標 1.語言知識目標
(1)詞匯:1) 名詞n. face, mouth, eye, nose, singer
2) 形容詞adj. blonde, round
(2)短語:a big nose, a small mouth, a round face, blonde hair,big eyes, a long face (3) 句型:What does he/she look like?

2.語言能力目標
能熟練的用英語描述人物的外貌特征并根據人物特征推理出某一人物。 3.情感態度價值觀
學會賞識,不要以貌取人,懂得心靈美比外表美更重要。 三、教學重點、難點分析 教學重點:
運用所學的有關詞匯,短語及句型,描述人的外貌特征。 教學難點:
新詞匯的運用,特別是has與is的正確使用。 四、學情分析
學生在Section A部分已經學過關于“What does he look like?”這一特殊疑問句式,具有了學習本節課知識的認知前提,能自然地與本節課話題進行銜接。談論人的外表形象是人們日常生活中遇到的話題,故學生喜于樂于用英語表達此類知識。 五、教學方法和學習策略 1. 教學方法:
(1)情景交際法:本節課話題源自生活,立足這一點,充分利用學生已有的知識和經驗,創設生活化的真實情境,引導學生在運用中學習語言,然后在學習新的語言知識后創造性地運用語言(為用而學,在用中學,學了能用)。
(2)任務型語言教學法:設計多種任務活動,提供給學生合作交流的空間和時間,促使學生為完成任務和同學進行合作,為完成任務進行探究學習。
(3)開放性教學策略:開放性地處理教材,結合教材插入學生感興趣的圖片,豐富學生知識,拓寬他們視野,實現知識的整合。 2.學習策略
(1)合作學習:在與同學合作完成任務的活動中形成合作學習和探究學習的學習方式,引導學生積極思考,善于抓住英語交流的機會。在活動中相互探討、相互交流、相互合作,從而獲得知識、技能和情感體驗,發展他們的能力。
(2)通過匯報、猜明星、做目擊證人等一系列比賽,創設情景和有意義的任務活動,激發學生的學習熱情,培養他們的概括和推理能力,發揮他們自己的主觀能動性,把被動的學習變為主動學習,讓學生鞏固所學語言知識。 六、教學過程 教學流程 教學內容

Step2 Revision
Let’s review!We have learned how to describe people’s looks about hair, height, build. Let students describe some people’s looks according to their photos. Work in pairs.
通過對本班同學照片進行兩兩問答,既復習了之前學過的知識,又鍛煉了學生的口語表達能力。

Presentation-
Learn the new words Learn the parts of the body by a picture of a girl. Present the new words—face, mouth, eye, nose 通過圖片學單詞,既有趣又高效直觀,為下面學習做好鋪墊。

鞏固了剛剛學過的身體部位的單詞,將本節課五官名詞自然呈現。學生全體參加,提高了參與率。

呈現新單詞,與此同時展現本節課重要的句式,通過句式來鞏固新單詞,通過新單詞來引出句式。通過老師領讀、學生齊讀、分組讀、分行讀、男生女生讀、兩兩對話等多種形式練習含有重點詞匯的重點句型,提示學生注意名詞單復數,謂語動詞的使用。
