教材分析
本課為新標準英語三年級起點第一冊第三模塊第二單元。本模塊的主題是
classroom,主要語言功能是運用祈使句對教室的一些物件進行指認,主要學習Point to the…本單元在上一單元的基礎(chǔ)上新增學習了desk,chair兩個單詞。主要句型還是學習Point to the…因此可以說本單元是本模塊第一單元的延續(xù),在第四模塊的第二單元活動3將學到“It’s a blue desk.” “It’s a red chair.”因而可以說本單元的學習已經(jīng)為第四模塊作了鋪墊。在這個意義上本單元起到了承前啟下的作用。對教室物件的指認貼近學生生活,是學生感興趣的話題,還能使學生學以致用。學會了指認,有利于今后的教學。 學情分析
本科的教學對象是剛剛接觸英語一個半月左右的三年級學生,學生對英語頗有新鮮感,好奇心強。在英語課堂上積極完成老師布置的各項任務(wù)和作業(yè),課堂氣氛活躍。學生在此之前僅學過了簡單的問候語和介紹這兩個話題與相關(guān)的單詞和句型以及本模塊單元一所學教室其他物件door,window,blackboard指認。他們可以說還沒什么英語基礎(chǔ)。但他們樂意在交際中學習英語,感悟英語。在游戲中體驗英語,認識英語。但他們年紀的原因自制能力差,注意力易分散。 教學目標
知識目標:掌握新單詞desk,chair. 掌握句型point to the desk/chair. 能力目標:1、學生能理解指令“Point to the …”,并能做出正確的反應(yīng)動作。 2、學生不但能說“desk,chair”,而且要求能認讀它們。 情感目標:樹立學生們的自信心。 教學重點和難點
教學重點:1、新單詞desk,chair. 2、句型:Point to the desk/chair.
教學難點:讓學生們在日常生活中運用句型:Point to the … 教學過程
一 Warm up 1 Greetings
2 Free talk: Good morning. How are you? What’s your name? How old are you?
3 Have a review: Show some pictures of Unit1, let students read the words out.(The words are : stand up, sit down, point to, window, door, bird)
4 Show the pictures of the new words “desk”, ”chair”
5 Play the cartoon of activity1, and let students listen carefully. 6 Play the cartoon again, and let students read after it. 二 Presentation
Show the picture of a bird to students and say: If you can do well in this class, the bird will fly home. But if you can’t, it can’t fly home. So let’s come on.
Today there is a bird flying into the classroom, what does it do? Let’s see the cartoon together. 三 New teaching
1 Play the cartoon of activity2, and let students listen to it carefully. Let students underline the phrases “Point to ”out.
2 Play the cartoon again, and then show the picture of the new word “blackboard”.
3 Clap hands and point to the blackboard. Let students do as the teacher does.
4 Clap hands and point to the window, door, desk, chair. Let students do as the teacher does.
5 Let students practice in groups as the teacher does.
6 Give the order slowly, and let students read and do the actions. 7 Let students practice in groups as the teacher does.
6 Take out a model of a house, order the students to point out the
window, the door, the desk, the chair.
7 Let students practice in groups as the teacher does.
8 Play the cartoon for the third time, and let students act it in roles in the front of the classroom. 四 Practice
1 Listen and let students circle the words you hear out. 2 Sing a song together.
3 Play a game: Show a word to students, let the student stand in the front of the classroom point to the right picture of the word. 4 One student give the order, let the other students point out the things as quickly as they can. 五 Summary
Clap hands and say the chant together. • Point point point to the blackboard. • Point point point to the window. • Point point point to the door. • Point point point to the desk. • Point point point to the chair. 六 Homework
Point the things in the classroom out with your classmates.
