一、教學目標
1. 掌握A、B部分“Let’s learn”, “Let’s talk”中的單詞和句子: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. What do you have on Mondays? I have Chinese, English, maths and music. What do you often do on the weekend? I often …
2. 能聽、讀、說、寫關于星期和日常活動的相關問題并能正確回答。學會與同學談論星期和課程。
4. 能讀懂和表演“Story time”部分的趣味故事。
5. 鍛煉學生聽、說、讀、寫單詞的能力,初步培養學生快速記詞、寫詞的技能。
6. 教育學生要根據課程表合理安排日常活動。培養學生熱愛學習、珍惜時間的良好品質。 7. 引導學生積極利用所學的英語知識談論日常活動的安排情況。
二、學情分析
本單元圍繞一周課程安排和周末活動的話題展開。這是學生比較感興趣的話題并且與生活聯系十分緊密。剛上五年級的學生,形象直觀思維仍占主導地位,因此,教學仍應具有直觀性與趣味性。另外,五年級學生已經接觸過一些關于學科方面的詞匯和一些常見的動詞詞組。在本單元學習中,重點通過聽、說、讀、寫等活動使學生掌握本單元的交際語言:What do you have on ...? 等介紹學校的課程以及個人的周末安排的表達法。本單元的教學內容涉及學科科目和日常活動等方面,與學生的日常生活聯系緊密,學生會感到有話可寫,有話可說。并能通過學習使學生進一步懂得珍惜時間的重要性,做到有張有弛,勞逸結合。
三、重難點 1、重點
(1)掌握A、B部分“Let’s learn”, “Let’s talk”中的單詞和句子 (2)能靈活運用本單元的主要句型談論星期和課程。 2、難點
(1)能讀懂并表演“Story time”部分的趣味故事。 (2)培養學生熱愛學習、珍惜時間的良好品質。
四、教學過程
Step one Warming up 1. Free talk
The teacher can talk freely with students to review the words about week. T: How is the weather today? What day is it today? 2. Let’s sing.
T: Now let’s sing a song about” Days of the week”. 3. Let’s play a game: Quick and say out
Let student stand up and say out quickly from Monday to Sunday.
Step two Presentation
1. Teach “story time”
(1) T: It’s a new school year. Zoom and Zip have a new timetable.What is it?
Let students read story quickly and fill in the blanks. “What do they have on…? They have… What do they want to buy? They want to buy…” (2) Check the answers.
(3) Story explanation. Teach the new words. (4) Students watch the video.
Step three Practice
1. Students read after the tape one sentence by one sentence. 2. Students read the story in pairs. 3.Role-play
Act the story with your partners. You must pay attention to the actions and expressions. Students act the story in groups. Which group is the better one? 4.Think and say. Try to fill in the blanks.
Step four Summing up
T: Today we have learned the story and acted the story in the front of the classroom. All of you did a good job.
Read “For the hard-working, a week has seven days; for the lazy, seven tomorrows.” So we should cherish the day and strive to be the hard-working. Never pull off until tomorrow what can you do today.
Step five Homework
1. Tell the story to your parents.
2. Write about your weekend schedule in a few words.
