1. Warming-up/ Revision (復習導入) 1)Greeting
2)Talk about hobbies T: What’s your hobby?
T: What are you interested in?
3) Make sure teacher’s hobby and bring out the main character in this class.
T: My hobby is reading. And I like reading English book. My favorite one is Harry Potter. Today, Harry comes to our class.
S: My hobby is...... S: I’m interested in......
S: Hello, Harry. Welcome to our class.
在新課導入環節,與學生打招呼,有關愛好話題進行自然的交談,從而引出本課哈利波特來做客的情境,這樣既設置情境,又激發了學生的興趣,活躍課堂。

2.Revision of Topic1(Hobby)
1) Talk about Harry’s hobbies according to three pictures
T: Would you like to know something about Harry’s hobbies?
T: Guess, what are Harry’s hobbies?
2) Do a survey about your classmates’ hobbies
T: Now, you know much about Harry’s hobbies. He also wants to know something about your classmates’ hobbies. Then we can send the results to Harry.
Ask students to share their form. Who did they interview and what are their hobbies?
3) Finish listening exercise about Bill’s hobbies
T: Harry has a friend. His name is Bill. Let’s know more about his hobbies.
(Firstly, ask students that what they can see from the pictures.)
T: So, what hobbies does Bill have?
S: Yes, of course.
S1: Does he like playing hockey? No, he doesn't.
S2: Does he like playing Quidditch? Yes, he does.
Free talk with classmates (group work) about hobbies and fill the form.
S1: What’s your name? What’s your hobby?
What are you interested in?
S: I interview......
His/Her hobby is......
A. Listen to the story and then number the pictures.
(S: I can see.... in the picture.)
B: Read the sentences below. Listen to the story again and number the sentences.
通過看圖片猜哈利的愛好,學生復習怎樣介紹他人愛好。同時,預設play hockey 這個新詞組,為后面要進行的聽力做知識上的鋪墊。
生生間互相詢問愛好,既操練了句型又培養學生之間互相了解的友誼。
學生對調查結果進行分享,培養學生汲取信息并能準確表達的能力。 學生在聽材料之前,教師首先培養學生聽前解讀圖片并進行預測的能力。
繼續培養學生聽后提取信息的能力。學生能夠對語篇的關鍵信息進行整合并表達出來。

3. Transition:
Harry also wants to tell you something about his classmate, Jim’s hobby. Read the chart and answer some questions. T: What’s Jim’s hobby?
T: When does Jim go to bed everyday?
T: When does he get up?
So, do you think his hobby is good or not-so-good? Why? Harry tells you:
Some people have good habits because of the good hobbies.
Some people have bad habits because of the “bad” hobbies.
4. Revision of Topic2 (Daily life) 1) Do you have good habits? T: When do you usually get up?
When do you go to bed? Ask Qs about their daily life.
T: Can you draw the time on the blackboard?
(Review the different ways to express time)
2)T: What is Jim’s life like now? Let students finish the second listening exercise.
Ask some Qs about Jim’s daily life.
3) Finally, Harry wants to share his daily life with you.
T:When does Harry Potter get up everyday?
S: His hobby is playing computer games.
S: He goes to bed at 11:00pm. S: He gets up at 7:40am.
Share their ideas about Jim’s hobby.
S: I get up at 6:30 in the morning.
Draw the certain time on the clock.
6:30 (six thirty) (half past six)
Listen and draw the time in the clocks.
Answer the Qs according to the clocks.
Listen again and number the sentences.
Read an email from Harry and try to answer four Qs.
S: He gets up at 6:30 in the morning.
通過了解哈利另外一個伙伴Jim的愛好和作息時間,學生了解一些愛好是積極的,健康的,一些愛好是不太積極的。并將愛好與習慣掛鉤,以便引出日常生活這個話題。
教師自然地詢問與學生日常生活相關的問題并引導學生在黑板上的表盤中畫出相應的時間,同時復習時間的英美表達法。聽時間畫表的任務為接下來的聽力做鋪墊。
學生聽有關Jim日常生活的語篇并畫表的任務檢驗學生對時間把握是否準確快速。
閱讀來自哈利的郵件了解其日常生活,培養學生抓取關鍵信息的能力。

7. Homework
1)Talk about your daily life with your friends and try to retell other's daily life.
2)Share some of your hobbies with your parents and classmates.
S: He has six subjects.
S: His hobby is reading books. S: Hermione and Rone.
Write a passage about their friends, family, hobbies or study.
Enjoy a video about the film Harry Potter.
S: Sure!

引領提升學生靈活運用語言的能力,作為六年級的學生,具備一定的寫作能力,連句成篇,將所學語言內化并能清晰的表達出來,達到學以致用的目的。
對學生的表現進行評價,哈利波特展示其魔法。學生在觀看視頻的過程中體會電影中展示的主題(魔法、正義、友誼)。
Recycle 1只是Fun time的一個部分,在Recycle 2 中會涉及有關invitation的話題,此舉可以為下節課做鋪墊。
作業的設計突出層次,主要對學生日常生活要使用的語言進行訓練,讓學生能夠利用課上所學知識,進行課下的交流。
