難點:1. 單詞thin的發音。
2. 能在語境中運用句型對動物進行描述。 三、教學準備
1. 動物圖片，單詞卡片，句子卡片。 2. 教學音頻，視頻，ppt.
3. word打印材料，小組合作紙板及動物卡片。 四、教學過程

Step 1: Preparation
1. Greeting:
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning T: How are you today? Ss: Fine, thank you. And you? T: I am fine, too. Nice to meet you. Ss: Nice to meet you, too.
T: I’m happy today. I want to be your friends today. Do you want to be my friends?
2. Let’s sing: Boy and girl Step 2: Presentation
1. 引出課題并分組：
1）與學生就“動物”的話題進行對話，引出課題，如： T: (拿動物的圖片進行問答) Look, what’s this? Ss : It’s....(卡片貼于黑板上) T: Where are they?
Ss: They are at the zoo. (介紹課題) 2）分組：monkey group and giraffe group 2. A. Let’s learn. 教學新單詞
(1) 利用分組monkey圖片引出新單詞thin的學習

T：Look, what’s that? Ss: It’s a monkey.
T: Look at that monkey. What’s it like? 引出單詞thin 教學thin： 聽音跟讀；教師教讀，學生跟讀，(強調單詞thin的發音)；利用卡片學生試讀，單個讀，小組讀。
教學句子It’s thin. 通過動作教學句子，學生里理解練習并做動作。
T：Can you do it like this? Be thin. Be thin. Be thin, thin, thin.
學生邊說邊做。 （2）教學單詞fat
通過Garfield跳舞的視頻引出單詞fat的教學。
T：Look at Garfield. He’s a cat. 利用字母A發音引出單詞at, fat, that,學生試讀并試讀句子Look at that cat. It’s fat. 聽音跟讀；教師教讀；學生練習。
（3）單詞giraffe和tall的學習
通過Why Garfield is so fat？引出流浪動物以及動物收養制度，去動物園認養動物，引出長頸鹿及單詞tall
聽音教讀；學生跟讀；學生練習單詞以及句子。 動作教學Be tall. Be tall. Be tall, tall, tall. (4)單詞short的教學
利用長頸鹿媽媽和長頸鹿寶寶對比圖片引出單詞short的學習。 聽音教讀；卡片練習；學生做動作說單詞以及句子；補充圖片練習

tall和short以及利用主要句子進行描述圖片。
3. Listen and repeat
課本A、let’s learn 聽音跟讀。 Step 3: Practice
1. Pair work: 同桌練習讀單詞句子；讀后檢測學生掌握情況。 2. Look， find and say. 看圖片，找規律，說單詞。練習高矮胖瘦兩隊反義詞單詞。
Let’s do
(1) 播放教學視頻，師生邊聽邊看。
(2) 再次播放教學錄音，學生跟錄音讀，并做相應的動作。 (3) 游戲：全班學生站起來，教師說指令，如“Be fat”，學生做相應的動作，
3. Look and circle. 看表格，圈出單詞四個，并統計出個數。 4. Choose, look and describe. 看圖片描述動物。 Step 4: Production
Group work: Choose your favourite pets
1.小組活動，利用手中的動物卡片，選出自己喜歡的動物并貼在紙板上，并進行描述自己選擇的動物以及原因。
2. 小組展示。 Step 5: Progress
1. Summary: 師生共同總結本課時所學的重點知識。 2. Homework: 1). Listen and repeat.
