Book5 Module 8 unit 1 What time does your school start?
一、教學分析 1. 教材分析
本單元主要是談論與學校有關的事,圍繞著Lingling在英國的見聞這一主線,通過Lingling和Amy的對話告訴大家英國學校的學校生活。本單元的語言結構學習內容是句型:What time…? Do you…? What time…? 結構是本冊在下半學期重點學習的內容之一,按照目標要求,學生理應掌握。Do you…? 句型,學生在三起二冊Module4已經學過,但隨時間的推移,學生可能出現了對于Do you…? 用法的遺忘,所以在本單元談論學校生活時,即將對這一句型進一步強化鞏固。除此之外,要求學生掌握一些與日常生活相關的動詞短語,學習鞏固時間的表達方法,并且能將兩者相結合。
本單元的詞語學習目標是學習新單詞:time、school、start、past、late、 go to bed、exercise、playground、before、join,skipping rope、 coffee、tea。其中school、exercise、coffee, tea學生已經在以前的課文中接觸過,學生有印象,不是難點。單詞playground、before是難點,采取分音節教授的方法。 2、學情分析
經過兩年多的英語學習,學生們具備了一定的聽說讀寫技能,有較好的模仿能力,在老師的引導下,能運用所學基本句型進行語言操練,在課堂教學中能積極參與,互動交流。在本模塊的知識點中,與日常生活有關的動詞詞組是學生十分熟悉和掌握較好的,由于它貼近學生生活,所以學生對此會表現出較濃厚的學習興趣,這就為本單元的學習打下了良好的基礎。另外,本單元的另一個知識點,即時間的整點表達方法是學生已經掌握的,所以學生主要解決的問題是時間的半點表達方法以及如何進行綜合運用。 二、教學目標 1、知識與技能目標:
A. 能全面參與學習time、school、start、past、late、 go to bed、exercise、playground、before、join,skipping rope、 coffee、tea等本單元新學語詞的活動,能聽懂,會讀,會說會運用time、past、start、exercise、playground、skip、before;

B.能聽懂句型:What time does your school start? My school starts at....What time do you…? I …at…學生能在具體情境中運用這一結構。
C. 能聽懂本單元句型,能靈活運用所學結構詢問和描述日常生活。 2.過程與方法:
3、情感態度與價值觀:通過活動,學生主動與他人交流合作的能力得到提高,養成積極探索,思考問題的好習慣,在學習知識的同時了解中英校園生活的差異,愉快地度過每一天。 三、教學重難點: 1、教學重點:
A.重點掌握句型:What time does your school start?及其回答,以及句型What time do you…? I …at… 2、教學難點:
能夠運用What time…?句式進行問答,并描述自己的日常生活。 四、教學步驟: Step 1: Warming up:
T: Look at the picture.(教師出示鐘表鐘擺圖,讓學生猜測)What ‘s this? Ss: It’s a clock.
T: What time is it?(播放鐘表敲響的聲音) Ss: It’s three o’clock. Step2: Lead-in:
1. Show the picture of part one. Ask the students “What’s the time?” T: Look at this picture, where is the boy going to go? Ss: He is going to go to school.
T: What time is it? Let’s watch and imitate.
2. Check the answer and teach “half past”,then show three pictures to practise.(圖片2:30,9:30,單詞卡,自然拼讀)
3. Use a picture to explain the word “late” Then teach the students to be on time. T: (接上一頁PPT 9:30圖片)It's half past nine. Look! The boy is running so fast, because he is late for school. Please remember “Don’t be late for school.”

Step3: New teaching of the text:
1. Show the picture of Amy and Lingling on the bed, ask the students to say what they can see in the picture freely.
T: Look at the picture, What can you see in the picture? S1: Amy and Lingling. S2: A bed. S3: Moon and stars. S4: Window.
2. Watch the cartoon and answer “What are they talking about?” 3. Listen and read paragraph 1-2, answer the questions in pairs.
T:They are talking about Amy’s school. Do you want to know something about Amy’s school? Now let’s listen and read paragraph 1-2. 4.Ask the students to answer questions in the role of Amy. T:What did Lingling ask?
Ss:What time does your school start?(出示問題,板書,重點強調start) T:How did Amy answer?
Ss: My school starts at nine o’clock.(出示答案,板書,)
5. Ask and answer in the role of Amy and Lingling to practise the important sentences.
5. Listen and read paragraph 3-4 then judge (T/F)
T: Amy’s school starts at nine o’clock. What does Amy do at school every morning? Let’s listen and read paragraph 3-4.
6. After listening and reading judge the sentences true or false.. 1) Amy does exercise in the playground every morning.( )
S1: False. (若學生不能表達錯誤的原因,提醒學生看書從文本中找到相關語句。) (借助圖片幫學生理解do exercise、in the playground 分音節教讀強化exercise和playground讀音。)
T: Look! The children are doing exercise in the playground. Exercise can make us strong and healthy. You should do some exercise.

2) Amy can play in the playground at 9:00.( ) T: Is it true or false?
S2: False.(讓學生嘗試看書從書中找到相關語句表述,before 此處是難點,學生可能不會讀,教師適時引入幾幅鐘表圖片幫助學生理解before的意義。) 3) Amy and Lingling can skip very well.( ) Step4: Practice (Daming’s School Day) 1.Read and number(圖文配伍)
T: Amy and Daming are good friends. Just now we talked about Amy’s school. What about Daming’s school? Please read Daming’s School Day then number the pictures.
2.Check the answer.(讓生用描述性語言說圖片順序為生做好示范。如: Picture A: Daming gets up.) 2. Read and play. Game rules:
1.一分鐘內再次快速閱讀短文,記憶大明在對應時間內做了哪些事情。 2.兩小組同時挑戰,一小組挑戰根據圖片提問(What time does Daming….?),對方小組挑戰回答。
3.挑戰成功次數越多得分越高。 Step 5: Extension:
1.Ask the students to think about the differences of Schools between England and China, then fill in the blanks.
2.Make a survey: Ask the students to use the sentence pattern to ask the time of their partners’ activities in a day. A:What time do you …..? B: I ….. Step 6: Sum up
Emotional education: Take a good habit and value the time at school. Step7: Homework:
