1.整體設計思路、指導依據說明
本單元選自PEP Primary English Students’ Book four Unit 2 What time is it? 本單元由三個板塊構成,分別為Part A Let’s talk & Let’s Learn, Part B Let’s talk & Let’s learn, Part C Story time。本課時選自Part C,講述了愚人節那天Zip把Zoom的鬧鐘調早了一個小時,愚弄Zoom的故事。四年級的孩子他們喜歡讀故事,樂于表演,已經知道一些愚人節的文化,因此在課堂中以愚人節為故事背景,讓學生說說已知的愚人節文化激活已有的背景知識,提出自己想知道的內容,激發孩子學習的興趣,在故事學習中關注學生的讀圖能力,利用圖片想象故事內容,引導孩子多提問題激活思維,理解故事大意,最終同桌合作表演故事。
2.教學背景分析
教學內容分析:
本課選自四年級下冊第二單元C Story time,本課是以愚人節為話題展開的故事,講述了在愚人節早上Zip故意把時鐘撥快了一個小時,提前叫Zoom起床。學生除了復習鞏固句型What time is it? It’s time to get up以及get up, go to school等短語以外,還要通過圖片、上下文理解wake up, wait, April Fool’s Day, I’m late for school.等。同時讓學生在閱讀中了解愚人節的文化,并在想象的基礎上理解故事,最終能夠同桌合作表演故事。 學生情況分析:
學生在這一單元的前兩個課時中已學過時間表達法,能提問What time is it? 并能區分運用It’s time to…/ It’s time for…等。故事體裁的文本,容易激發學生學習的興趣,但是他們僅學過一年多的英語,語言承載量小,導致很多時候不敢開口說,不敢想象。 本節課以圖片為突破口,在讀圖的基礎上引導孩子大膽想象,勇于說出自己的想法。

(設計意圖:由于上個問題中的What在圖片中還得不到解決,因而進一步引導學生觀看視頻了解故事內容。但是視頻內容是無旁白的,學生需要邊看視頻邊發揮想象獲取故事大意,知道Zip 對Zoom
