教學內容

教學對象：五年級學生
一、設計意圖
1．本課是《新標準英語》（一年級起點第10冊）第5模塊的第1課時，主要談論Lingling的包壞了，Ms Smart帶Lingling去商店選一個合適的包。本課以“為外星人Little Six的家人選包”為任務，讓學生懂得用恰當的形容詞來描述物品的屬性，并表達自己的觀點理由。鼓勵學生樂于為他人提出友善的建議。
2．激發興趣。興趣是學習的動力。因此我將激發學生的興趣貫穿于教學環節的始終。通過豐富的圖片，美妙的音樂和精美的視頻讓學生樂于參與，在體驗中學習。
3．采用任務型教學，由易入難，生動有趣，層層遞進。本課主要采用任務型教學模式，在課堂伊始就為學生創設充滿童趣的情境，以虛幻的充滿想象的外星人為學習載體，結合相關微元素，讓課堂生動起來，并制作課程總結視頻，讓學習的可能延伸到課外，服務于課外，極大程度上激發學生學習英語的興趣。
4. 巧妙使用“微”元素，讓課程內容更加生動形象，利用微視頻幫助學生掌握鞏固知識，從課內延伸到課外。
二、教學目標
1.語言知識與技能目標
     1)能聽懂，會說，能認讀單詞broken, light, sales assistant, wheels.
     2)能聽懂，會說，能認讀This black bag is nice. It’s big. But it’s very small等。
     3)能聽懂、會讀課文，并能根據圖片的提示復述課文。
     4)能用big, small, heavy, light, cheap, expensive, It has got等詞或詞組簡單地描述物品的特征。
     5）能通過閱讀信息，完成為外星人家人選包的任務，運用目標語言寫出自己的理由并表達觀點。
2.學習策略
   1）自主運用英語思維，對所學內容能主動復習和歸納
     2）能夠同桌合作通過討論、閱讀等方式尋找信息，表達自我
3. 情感態度
1）樂于感知并積極嘗試使用英語；
2）培養善于發現、觀察和比較的能力。

三、教學重難點
1．本課的教學重點是
1）能聽懂、會說，能認讀單詞能聽懂，會說，能認讀單詞broken, light, sales assistant, wheels, pounds.及句子This black bag is nice. It’s big. But it’s very small等。
2）能用big, small, heavy, light, cheap, expensive, It has got等詞或詞組簡單描述物品特征。
3）能通過閱讀，完成為他人選包的任務，運用目標語言寫出自己的理由并表達觀點。
2．本課的教學難點也是以上的第二三兩點。
四、 教學流程

Steps	Activities
Warmer	1. Greeting. 2. Video---The wonder world. 3. Non-stop talking in 30 seconds. I can see a______. It’s ______.
Lead in	1. Watch video --Little Six at the shop 2. Check. Which bag does he choose? How much is it? Is it expensive? Will he take this bag? Is it real dirty?
Task-setting	Task---Help Little Six to choose some bags for his families.
Presentation	1. Watch the video of the first part of the text. 2. Check. What’s the matter with Lingling’s bag? What will Ms Smart do? 3. Watch the rest part of the video on the text. 4. Check: Which one will she take? (1) How many bags? What colors are they? (2)Details about 3 bags: Black bag: Does Lingling like the black bag?Why? Does Ms Smart like it? Why? Will Lingling take it? Why? Green bag: What do you know about it? Choose words to describe. Teach the new word--light. Good Choice? Why? Summary for the 2 bags----- Lingling and Ms Smart are not satisfied with the two bags. Because… Ss talk about the reasons why they won’t take them in pairs. Red bag: Who will help Lingling? Teach word-- sales assistant. Will they take this bag?why? Read & underline the reasons. Teach the new word—carry. Check the 2 reasons: This red bag has got wheels. It will be easy for Lingling to carry. It’s not expensive. 5. Listen and imitate and learn. 6. Find how to choose bags: color, size, weight, price, others.
Practice	1. Complete Lingling’s message in pairs. 2. Check the answer---send a voice message for Lingling. 3. Guess Michelle will choose which bag for her daughter. 4. Read in pairs and find the answer. 5. Check. Bingo!
Consolidation & Application	1. Help Little Six to choose bags for his Father and Mother. 2. Explain the 4 steps to finish the task. (Work in group of 4) Step 1 Read Step 2 Choose Step3 Write Step 4 Share 3. Invite students to share in the front. 4. Evaluation for the task
Summary	1. What do we learn today? 2. Watch a mini-video for summary of today’s lesson. T will put it online; Ss may study by themselves after class. 3. Evaluation for today’s lesson.
Assignment	Design a suitable bag for your mother. And then write down your reasons.
