【教學內容】
小學英語PEP五年級上冊Unit 1 What’s he like? Part A let’s talk and let’s learn. 【學情分析】
本節課授課對象是五年級學生,經過四年的英語學習,學生已經掌握了一些簡單的日常用語,學生在本單元學習之前已經學習過怎樣描述人物的外貌特征,并能根據人物實際情況表述人物外貌特征,有效地激活了學生已有的相關知識,為本節課繼續討論人物的外貌特征繼而學習人物的性格特征奠定了基礎。 【設計理念】
依據新課標,英語學科的核心素養包括語言能力、思維品質、文化品格和學習能力四個維度。語言能力就是用語言做事的能力;思維品質包括用英語進行多元思維等活動;文化意識重點在于理解各國文化內涵,比較異同,汲取精華,尊重差異等方面;學習能力主要包括元認知策略、認知策略、交際策略和情感策略。因此,在本課教學中,老師遵循學生發展認知規律,截取著名電影《音樂之聲》片段,并與課文文本相結合,采用任務型教學方式,課堂活動設計多樣化,學生在老師的巧妙引導啟發下分析人物性格特征,提高學生的英語學習興趣,充分調動學生學習積極性,并注重培養學生英語口頭表達能力和應用英語的能力,引導學生多聽、多說、多思,并滲透人文關懷,讓學生通過感知、體驗、實踐、參與、合作交流將知識與技能,過程與方法,情感態度與價值觀完美融合,從而實現任務目標。 【教學目標】 1.知識目標:
a.能夠聽、說、讀、寫單詞“Old、young、funny、kind and strict”; b.能在適當的情境中靈活運用句型: “--What’s he/ she like?” --He/she is... “--Is he/ she ...?” “--Yes, he/ she is.” “--No, he/ she isn’t.” 2.能力目標:
a.能夠聽、說、讀、寫單詞“Old、young、funny、kind and strict”并能夠在語 境中正確運用這些形容詞描述人物外貌和性格特征;
b.能夠在適當的情境中運用句型: “--What’s he/ she like?” --He/she is...; “--Is he/ she ...?” “--Yes, he/ she is.”; “--No, he/ she isn’t.”
c.培養學生自主學習、合作學習的意識和能力,幫助學生樹立學習英語的自信心。

3.情感目標
通過對人物外貌和性格特征的學習,引導學生樹立正確的審美觀和價值觀,學會接納、尊重并理解不同外貌和性格特征的人。 【教學重點】
a.能夠聽、說、讀、寫單詞“Old、young、funny、kind and strict”; b.能在適當的情境中靈活運用句型: “--What’s he/ she like?” --He/she is... “--Is he/ she ...?” “--Yes, he/ she is.” “--No, he/ she isn’t.” 【教學難點】
a.能準確認讀單詞“kind/ strict” 注意它們的發音;
B.能夠熟練運用所學句型,提高學生在與人相處時準確判斷他人性格特征的意 識和能力。 【課前準備】 單詞卡片,PPT. 【教學過程】
一、Warm-up(熱身): T: Good morning! class. S:Good morning! T:Nice to see you! S:Nice to see you ,too!
T: What’s the weather like today? S: It’s sunny.
T: Yes, it’s a beautiful day. Now, let’s enjoy a beautiful song 《do re mi》together. T: Do you like the song? S:Yes, we do.
T: This song is from a famous movie《The sound of music》.Look,we can see a father, some children and a family teacher here, 《The sound of music》 is a love story happened in their family.
(設計意圖:播放《do re mi》歌曲,讓學生一起歌唱,引出了老師這根主線,也為后面的人物性格的學習奠定基礎,同時也活躍了課堂氣氛。) 二、Presention(呈現): 1、新詞學習: (1)kind
T: And everyone in their family is different ,they have their own features.
T:Look at the teacher, what’s she like? (Is she tall or short? Does she have long hair? What colour is it? How about her eyes? Anyoneelse?) S: ...
T:Yes,you are right. Do you like the teacher? Why? (Is she kind?) She teaches children with smiles.They are happy together. She is ________.(出示kind并教讀).
T: Now, Please take out your guns,let’s shoot and say. T: How about you? (單個點學生讀)
(設計意圖:從描述老師的外貌特點層層引入到學習性格特征,復習了舊知,又為新知的學習做了鋪墊)
T: My mother is kind, she often cooks delicious food for me. Who is kind to you?
( My friend is kind,she often helps me.
My father is kind,he often palys with me.) T:Oh, How about in our class? Who is kind? S: ...(oh,she is a good girl; he is a good boy.) T:Wonderful, I think everybody should be kind.

(2)Strict
T: The family teacher is young ,beautiful and kind,how about the father? Look, this is the the children’s father.
T:And look at this man,what’s he like?(Is he tall?)(and?) S: He is ... S: He has...
T: The family teacher is kind to the children, is he kind? Now, let’s enjoy the film and find out the answer. S: So what’s the father like? Is he kind? S: No, he isn’t.
T: look at his face, he doesn’t smile, he is easy to be angry, he is ________.(出示strict并教讀)
T: Train is coming.(學生開火車讀) T: Is he strict?

(3)Funny
T:The family teacher is kind ,she often plays with the children and teaches them lots of beautiful songs, now let’s enjoy a music show together. How do you think of the music show? Is it interesting? It’s funny.
T: Look at the puppets, Is she funny?(出示并教讀) T :Look at the puppets, are they funny? T: Who is funny in our class? Is he funny? S: ...

The family teacher often plays with the children,she is kind. The man’s hair is white, he is old.

Today,we learnt some words to describe sombody's characteristic: old, young, funny, kind, strict and the sentence pattern like: -What’s he/she like? --He/She is ________. And a general question: --Is he/she ________?

(情感教育) Boys and girls , I believe that after this class ,you can use the new words to describe others and you will also know that different people have different character. On the earth, someone maybe active,someone maybe shy , someone maybe funny, and someone maybe kind. Everyone is different.
