Stage1: Lead-in (5mins)
The teacher leads to the topic of tense by using a picture.
T: As you can see, today we are going to learn something concerning tenses. In particular present perfect progressive. To begin with, I’d like to show you a picture, behind which there is a sad story.
The teacher shows a picture and tells the story. Based on the story, the
teacher introduces the difference between Chinese and English in terms of tenses. Where there is difference, where there lies difficulty.
Stage2 Grammar presentation (10mins)

The teacher draws a chart illustrating all the tenses, among which those required by the curriculum are marked out. Of the ten required tenses, the topic for this class---present perfect progressive is a combination of present perfect and present progressive, two tenses that the students are already familiar with.

整節課下來,教師講的部分過多,在呈現部分,guided discovery method的實踐過程中沒有給學生足夠的時間和機會,答案呈現有點著急。練習部分,設計的個
別練習題沒有區分和排除掉相似語法結構的影響。后面鞏固練習部分設計的題對學生要求較高,本堂課的目標語法不夠突出。整體來說,時間把握上還需錘煉。另外,部分課堂指令還可以更加簡潔明了,這也是保證課堂進度的條件之一。
